With the rapid development of high-speed railways and highways,there are more and more cable-stayed bridges and suspension bridges.Steel cables are the main loadbearing components of cable-stayed bridges and suspension bridges.Anti-corrosion of steel cables is an important factor affecting the life and safety of bridges..At present,the anti-corrosion methods of steel wires at home and abroad mainly include plastic protective sleeves,anti-corrosion coatings,and rubber anti-corrosion tapes.Plastic protective sleeve is poor weatherability,easy to discoloration and aging cracking,short service life;easy construction of anti-corrosion coating,water resistance,weather resistance and UV resistance,short service life,high maintenance cost;rubber anticorrosion tape with excellent aging resistance,long service life However,the construction process requires on-site vulcanization and construction is difficult.In view of the above situation,in this paper,EPDM/PP TPV(TPV)is used as the main raw material to study the preparation and extrusion molding technology of anticorrosion steel tapes.Based on the study of the physical properties of TPV,a software such as POLYFLOW was designed.A special extrusion screw and a head runner were used to prepare a TPV steel cable anticorrosive tape,and the properties of the prepared anticorrosive tape were studied.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)By consulting literature,first of all,the different forms of steel corrosion protection and their advantages and disadvantages were studied.Then,by studying relevant materials of thermoplastic elastomers,the use of TPV to prepare steel cable anticorrosive tapes was proposed.TPV's extrusion molding technology was studied.(2)Based on the study of the physical properties of TPV,POLYFLOW's POLYMAT module was used to fit the experimental data of TPV at different temperatures and different shear rates,and the relevant physical properties required for TPV in extrusion simulation analysis were obtained.Parameters,and based on POLYFLOW on the preliminary design of the TPV anti-corrosion tape special extrusion screw and head flow channel simulation analysis and optimization design.(3)An experimental study on the preparation of anti-corrosion tapes for TPV steel cables was carried out on an extrusion test platform using TPV-specific extrusion screws and a machine head.The influence of processing parameters on the properties of anti-corrosion tapes was investigated.The results showed that: At 50r/min,the head temperature is 215°C,the barrel temperature in one zone is 175°C,and the temperature in the second and third zones is 205°C.The extruded TPV cable anti-corrosion tape has the best physical and mechanical properties.(4)The influence of formula factors on the properties of anti-corrosion tapes was studied.The results showed that with the increase of the amount of organic montmorillonite(MMT),the mechanical properties of anti-corrosion tapes increased first and then decreased,and the gas barrier performance was improved.Heat-resistant air aging,ozone-resistant aging,and resistance to deuterium lamp aging have improved in varying degrees.(5)The anti-corrosion performance of TPV anti-corrosion tape was studied and compared with the performance of traditional rubber anti-corrosion tapes.The results showed that: TPV anti-corrosion tape with 6 parts of organic MMT has gas barrier properties,waterproof performance,heat-resistant air aging,Ozone aging resistance,resistance to aging lamp aging performance is significantly better than traditional anticorrosion tape.
