Seismic measures of the building structure can effectively reduce the seismic response of the superstructure and ensure that the structure and its internal facilities are well preserved under the action of the earthquake.At present,a considering number of domestic and foreign buildings and bridge constructions have been equipped with isolation methods.However,due to the isolation devices without the capability of vertical pullout,their application and promotion get limited in super high-rise buildings.According to the friction pendulum isolation bearing with the characteristics of self-adaptive stiffness and damping,good energy dissipation,self-centering,etc.,the author proposes a new-type friction pendulum isolation bearing accounting for the pullout resisting capacities of peripheral components.Moreover,referring to the energy analysis approach of isolated structure including rubber bearing,the relevant formula of the energy analysis method for isolated structure of the friction pendulum bearing is deduced.This article mainly maintains the following aspects.(1)Based on multitudes of relevant literatures at home and abroad,this paper systematically reviews and summarizes the research status and progress of anti-pullout measures for isolated at home and abroad,and clarifies the research significance of friction pendulum bearings taking the pullout resisting capacities of peripheral components into account.(2)The basic constitutions of friction pendulum bearings and its operating principle are expounded.The pseudo-static test of friction pendulum pedestal was conducted to investigate its mechanical properties,which analyzes hysteresis behaviors and friction coefficient features under the synthetical circumstance of vertical load,horizontal loading rate and the friction material.(3)The energy analysis method applied to the isolated structure of rubber bearing is described;the relevant calculation formulae of the energy analysis method for the isolated structure of the friction pendulum bearing were derived;the results of energy analysis and time-history analysis of the isolation structure were studied by comparison to investigate the accuracy of the energy analysis method for isolated structure with friction pendulum bearing.(4)ETABS was employed to simulate and analyze isolation effects of the friction pendulum isolation bearing and the friction pendulum isolation bearing considering the pull-out resistance of the surrounding components by taking the actual project as acase.The results show that the use of the latter can effectively exert the tensile resistance performance of the building structure demanding isolation design,and impede the high-rise isolation structure from overturning under strong earthquake.The research and analysis in this paper provide some theoretical and empirical reference for the application of the friction pendulum-isolation bearing in the high-rise structure with the anti-pullout of the peripheral components in order to facilitate further research and popularization.
