With the mechanical industry developing towards high speed,heavy loading,precision,the research on the interfacial mechanical behavior for the motion pair in equipment has become more and more urgent,and the cleara nce problem has become one of the frontier problems in mechanical dynamics.The dynamic theory and experimental research on the motion pair with clearance will provide an effective analytical method for the design and prediction of dynamic behaviors of the multibody systems,which has the practical engineering value.Based on the theory of continuous analysis method of contact force model,a linkage mechanism with double clearances is taken as the research object in this paper.Using the contact force model in ADAMS software to simulate,this paper analyzed the influence of the four different parameters of clearance size,loading frequency,loading force and friction on the dynamic characteristics of the mechanism.Meantime,a new energy dissipative contact force model is present,then,the dynamics behavior of linkage mechanism based on this model is simulated.Finally,we designed an experimental platform of a linkage mechanism with clearance,and compared the simulation results of the two models above.The results show that the clearance made linkage mechanism vibrate greatly and impact obviously,and the value of impact is closely related to the clearance size and loading strength;Furthermore,the effect of impact influences the transfer force and makes t he mechanism occur additional redundant loading,thus reducing the stability of equipment in operation.In addition,the consistency of the simulation and experimental results shows that this new contact force model can be used to calculate the impact force between the components of pair,which can provide help for this kind of contact modeling.
