Research On Campus Walking System Based On Students' Travel Behavior

University campus carries the students daily learning,the function of life,the walking environment of the campus has a direct impact on the students for students who travel primarily as a major traveler.But with the development of the city and the arrival of science and technology era,urbanization and liberalization have become the direction of the development of university campus today.Increasing number of motor vehicles on campus,campus traffic in the planning and design did not take into account the beginning of the rapid growth of traffic demand.Campus car and car contradictions intensified,student travel safety is threatened.Therefore,it is very important to understand the characteristics of student travel and improve the students' walking environment to improve the safety and comfort of student travel.The paper is divided into three parts :The first,Theoretical basis.Through the university campus traffic system research and travel behavior of the development process to sort out,as the theoretical basis of this article.Through the pedestrian counting method,the moving line observation method,the cognitive map method,the interview method and the questionnaire method,the students' travel behavior characteristics and behavioral path superposition characteristics are obtained,and the existing campus traffic research progress is combined to construct the theoretical framework for this study.Second,Empirical Research.Through the statistical analysis of the field survey results of Dalian Polytechnic University Lingshui Campus,Weijin Road Campus of Tianjin University and Changping Campus of North China Electric Power University,the author takes the characteristics of college students' travel behavior and summarizes the walking system in the campus problem,namely: the entrance of the conflict highlights the problem,the square set unreasonable popularity is not high,pedestrians and motor vehicles to grab a serious problem,the campus parking problems.Third,Put forward a strategy.According to the characteristics of student travel and campus walking system problems,on the basis of the proposed sub-time limit line to regulate the campus parking,set the parking point,the local road expansion,set the parking lot,optimize the square design,improve the use of the square Targeted campus optimization strategy.In order to improve the students to meet the daily needs of the campus planning ideas to improve student walking environment,improve student travel experience,to provide students with a safe,convenient and comfortable university campus environment.
