| The deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is numerous in the mountainous area and has a very important function of transportation.It is necessary to study the response characteristics of the arch bridge under the rare earthquake.As the spandrel columns will be in the plastic state possibly,the method of elastoplastic analysis is needed.In this paper,the response spectrum analysis,linear elastic time-history analysis,elastoplastic time-history analysis and nonlinear static analysis are carried out on a deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge to study the characteristics of the elastoplastic seismic response of this type of bridge.Furthermore,the similarities and differences and advantages and disadvantages of various analytical methods have been compared.The study shows that the arch ring has a very low ductility and needs to be elastic under the action of rare earthquake,but the ductility of the spandrel columns can be used to dissipate the seismic energy.Once the bridge enters the plastic,the internal force between the components will be redistributed,so the elastic analysis will overestimate the response value of the structure.However,the plasticity of the deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge is not high under the rare earthquake,and the elastic analysis can still make a preliminary judgement on the seismic response of the structure.The nonlinear static method based on multi-modal Pushover analysis has higher accuracy in evaluating the seismic peak displacement response of arch bridge.It can be used as a fast and effective analysis tool.But when the bridge structure has a high extent of plasticity,the method will produce a large deviation from the elastoplastic time-history analysis because the hysteretic and dynamic characteristics of the structure can not be directly considered.As a whole,the above analysis methods have their own advantages and disadvantages,and can be selected according to the purpose of analysis.At the same time,the deck-type reinforced concrete arch bridge has excellent seismic performance as the arch ring and the arched building can cooperate to resist the earthquake action.But under the influence of the high order mode,the spandrel column and other components may enter the plastic stage,and the special attention should be paid in the design and evaluation of the bridge.The purpose of this paper is to provide some useful references for the seismic response analysis of this type of bridge. |
