Since ancient times,the safe drinking water is the most main problem relating to nationaldevelopment and people’s health.Especially since the reform and opening,with the excellenceof China’s economic development and people’s living standards rising,On the one hand facinga serious shortage of water resources and pollution, threatening human health. On the otherhand, the continuous development of science and technology, but also attracted the greatconcern of the people on the issue of water security. In the case of this contradiction betweensupply and demand, more and more countries and regions will take long-distance gravityflow water delivery as the main form of water supply. This not only ensures a safe andreliable water source, but also reduces funding for drinking water projects, energyconservation. Leading the clean water to the dryland is the inevitable trend of futuredevelopment of a water diversion project. However, such long-distance water supply worksgenerally face many problems,such as: the way is very long, the quantity of water is huge,thelarge diameter and manifold,which has a big difference with the type of pump waterconveyance project we have perfected. It has a complex structure and has undulating terrainduring the water transform.Based on the above,the water pipes will face serious pipes boostcaused by pipe-burst problem during the water delivery. The main problem is restricting themain contradictions of today ’s long-distance gravity flow water supply works.So the waterhammer protection issues are increasingly a cause for concern and attentionThis article is based on all kinds of long-distance gravity flow water conveyanceengineering research and concluded, using vc programming language, taking into account avariety of boundary conditions and summarized previous research to draw a reasonablecomputer simulation program proved by experiments. And then the actual project on HebeiNorth Water Gallery of LangZhuo water hammer protection through the simulation of varioustypes of water hammer protection.Then drawing conclusions and comparing to give the finalbest protection program.
