At present,the installed capacity of thermal power units in the country reaches 170 million kilowatt-hours.The price of coal energy in our country remains at a high level,and the profit margin of thermal power plants drops drastically.In order to implement the industrial policy of the national energy saving and emission reduction,building a conservation-oriented society,and to meet the requirement of the simultaneous development of urban central heating and urban construction in Dalian City,Huaneng Power International co.LTD.,a subsidiary of China Huaneng Power Group,conducted the heat-supply extraction transformation for its four steam turbines.Ensuring the reliability and economy of the power production and heating production have become an important issue in the field of power generation.The safe operation of large-scale reheat condensing steam turbine after heating extraction transformation depends upon accurate performance testing and online monitoring system of reliable long-term continuous operation.Therefore,it is of great significance to store,refine and analyze the mass production data of the converted steam extraction system.This paper introduces the overall plan of the heating transfomation in Huaneng Dalian Power Plant,the risks brought by the heating transformation to the generating set and the faults caused by the heating system during the operation.Based on the safe and reliable operation of the plant,the adjustment tests were carried out respectively for the performance of the maximum heating extraction steam flow rate under the operating conditions of 280 MW,250MW,230 MW,200MW,170 MW,160MW,150 MW,130MW and 110 MW.The extraction output characteristics and safe operation margin of the unit after heating transformation were obtained,which provided the data guarantee for the construction of the fault diagnosis platform in the next step.As so far,Huaneng Dalian Power Plant has built a solid foundation for storing mass production data by using the PI Server database developed by OSI in the United States.On the basis of it,in this paper,using by PI-ODBC,a secondary development tool provided by the PI database,a whole-process data monitoring platform has been developed for the heating extraction system,which provided an effective technical support to complete the diagnosis ofspecific fault types,refined management of running status and life feature data extractionfor for power plant production departments.
