An embedded system is a special-purpose computer system that is completely embedded in the controlled device and designed for a specific application.The on-board computer is an in-depth application of the embedded system in the aircraft and is a general term for a computer system that completes information processing for various specific missions.Compared with computers in other fields,airborne computers have the characteristics of embedded,harsh environments,and high reliability.They are the result of comprehensive application of various computer technologies and are an important part of aviation research.Based on the requirements of certain airborne equipment,this paper designs an airborne computer platform with P2020 as the core processor and Vxworks as the operating system to meet the high performance,low power consumption,real-time operation,aviation bus interface,and audio and video output.Etc.The main research methods and research contents of the project are as follows:1)Adopt a top-down design approach to carry out the design,start with the requirements of avionics for airborne computers,and determine the architecture,operating system type and design scheme of the airborne computer;2)Through in-depth analysis and research on the Power PC hardware architecture and related hardware manuals,complete the module's hardware design and function debugging;3)Using the Vx Works board-level development kit design method,transplant the Vx Works operating system to the computer board and run it steadily;complete the porting of drivers and provide application developers with a fully functional software platform;4)Completion of computer hardware and software testing,as well as verification of other functions.The on-board computer based on the P2020 processor has been designed and completed,and a related research report has been formed.The project successfully implemented computer applications based on the Powerpc processor and Vxworks operating system,and demonstrated the successful integration of many technologies such as Power PC and PCIE.Compared with the previous airborne computers,the energy consumption ratio,real-time performance,and human-machine interface In many aspects such as a large increase,with a large number of avionics equipment to provide a high-performance computer platform,with practical engineering application value.
