In order to study the effects of six kinds of tea on body composition and immunity of juvenile grass carp and channel catfish,six teas at two supplementation levels(0.7%,1.4% in grass carp diets and 1.0%,2.0% in channel catfish diets)were added into diet.The main results are showed :1 Effects of six kinds of tea on fish body composition of juvenile grass carp and channel catfishThe results showed that the five tea significantly increased the dry matter of juvenile grass carp except Pingshan Chaoqing.However,the dry matter of juvenile grass carp was unaffected by the dietary tea supplementation levels(except Longjin tea).Most of the tea significantly increased the body protein content of juvenile grass carp(except group LJS1 and PES1),and the body protein content was unaffected by the supplemented levels.A decreasing trend was observed in grass carp body lipid content with the dietary supplementation of tea,besides,the body lipid contents in group PCS1,PCS2 and HHS2 were significantly decrased.The body ash contents were unaffected by the dietary supplementation of tea.The results showed that the five tea significantly increased the dry matter of juvenile channel catfish,besides,the values in group HHS1,HMS2,QHS1 and QHS2 were significantly increased.The body protein contents of juvenile channel catfish were unaffected by the dietary supplementation of most kinds of tea,while the body protein contents in group LJS1,PCS2,QHS1 and QHS2 were significant lower than control group.The body lipid contents of juvenile channel catfish were unaffected by the dietary supplementation of tea.However,a decreasing trend was observed in channel catfish body ash content with the dietary supplementation of tea,besides,the values in group HMS1 and LJS1 were significant lower than control group.2 Effect of six kinds of tea on immunity of juvenile grass carp and channel catfishTwo fermented tea(Qimen red tea and Pu-er tea)and four unfermented tea(Pingshan Chaoqing,Huoshan Huangya,Huangshan Maofeng and Longjing tea)were added into basic diet at two different supplementation levels(0.7% and 1.4%)to investigate their effects on hepatic immunity of juvenile grass carp.The results showed that dietary supplementation of 0.7% Qimen red tea,Pingshan Chaoqing,Longjing tea and Pu-er tea and 1.4% Pu-er tea,Pingshan Chaoqing,Huangshan Maofeng and Huoshan Huangya significantly increased the hepatic lysozyme content of juvenile grass carp.Before the stress trial,dietary supplementation of 0.7%Lingjing tea and Pu-er tea and 1.4% Huangshan Maofeng,Longjing tea and Pu-er tea significantly increased hepatic interleukin 1? content of juvenile grass carp.After the stress trial,the hepatic interleukin 1? content of grass carp in group LJS1,LJS2,QHS1,QHS2,PCS2 were significant higher than control group.However,despite of before or after the stress trial,the hepatic super C-reactive protein content was unaffected by the dietary supplementation of six tea.Two fermented tea(Qimen red tea and Pu-er tea)and four unfermented tea(Pingshan Chaoqing,Huoshan Huangya,Huangshan Maofeng and Longjing tea)were added into basic diet at two different supplementation levels(1.0% and 2.0%)to investigate their effects on hepatic immunity of juvenile channel catfish.The results showed that the hepatic lysozyme content was unaffected by the dietary supplementation of six tea.While,the hepatic interleukin 1? content was significantly affected by the dietary supplementation of six tea.Before the stress trial,the hepatic interleukin 1? contents of juvenile channel catfish in groups PES1,PES2,LJS1,LJS2,PCS2,HHS2,HMS2 were significant higher than control group.After the stress trial,the hepatic interleukin 1? contents of juvenile channel catfish in groups QHS1,QHS2,PCS1,HHS1,HMS2,PES2 were significant higher than control group.For super C-reactive protein,before the stress trial,the hepatic super C-reactive protein contents of juvenile channel catfish in groups PES1,PES2,QHS2,PCS2,HMS1,LJS1 were significant lower than control group,while the value in group HMS2 was significant higher than control group.While,after stress trial,the hepatic super C-reactive protein contents of juvenile channel catfish in groups PES1,PES2,HMS1,HMS2,QHS1,PCS1,LJS1 were significant lower than control group.
