This paper studied on the ecosystem service of Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests of Baotianman nature reserve,the plots consistent two groups:forests of different age and that have suffered from fire.We had research ed the monitoring technology and evaluated on 12 indexes such as water conn otation,water purifying,Carbon sequestration,Oxygen release,soil reinforcement,fert ilize maintenance,anion supply,biodiversity index,pest control,edible fungus suppl y,wild vegetable supply and Chinese traditional drug supply which attribute to 6 functions:water conservation,Carbon fixation and Oxygen release,soil & fertili zer keeping,air purification,forest nursing,minor forest products supply.According to the comparative study on the value of ecosystem service of Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests:young forest,mid-aged forest, mature forest, forests re newed from burned and the contrast,we drew the conclusions as below:(1)The monitoring technology of ecosystem service of Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests of Baotianman reserve were:runoff plot method,Sloping runoff field method, nitrogen analyze (HLO-5B-3BN), biomass method,anion concentration instrument(EC-AIC),sample-plot and questionnaire survey method,sample-plot and data inquiry method.(2)According to the monitoring and studying of the 9 sample plots in all of different age of Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests of Baotianman reserve we found that the order of total value of ecosystem service was mid-aged forest>mature forest>young forest,between all items of value,the first three were water conservation, Carbon fixation and oxygen release,forest nursing,the proportion of them were:60.61%,18.57%,11.68%,so,when we adjust and control the ecosystem service of Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests,we should follow the feather of mid-aged forest,make the mature and young forest approaching to it,and make it being still as far as possible;what's more,we should consider the emphasis service which account for bigger proportion when we monitor and adjust and control the forest.(4)For Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests suffered from fire of Baotianman,the value of forest nursing raised up firstly then reduced,reached to the max. in the 5 year after fire; the value of other services were crescent follow the time advancing.What directed appropriate fire had removed litter layer,changed physical appearance of the soil and improved the photo-environment understory,it was possible a kind of adjust and control technology.(5)According to the current situation of Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata forests of Baotianman reserve,we should used different technologies for different forest.For young forest,forest reservation should be carried out;slight intermediate cutting should be taken on the forest whose shade density above 0.8 to make it descending to 0.7;replanted trees except Quercus aliena var. Acuteserrata;used suitable green manure or fertilizer.Carried out close-nature nurture on mid-aged forest,moderate nature should be take on forest whose shade density above 0.8 and keep it between 0.65 and 0.7.Carried out moderate and intensity nurture on mature forest,made the shade density descending to 0.6 or 0.7,removal the deadwood all together;replanted second growth of Quercus aliena var. Acuteserrata at the canopy gap.For Quercus aliena var. Acuteserrata forest suffered from fire,lower layer nurture should be taken firstly and then forest reservation should be carried out;used suitable green manure or fertilizer;carried out released thinning in 10 years after fire;cut big trees properly.
