Study on the relevant index of Leymus Hochst., providing potential energy plant resources and germplasm resources for the application of biomass energy development. Further analysis the prospect of the outstanding related index of Leymus in the chemical, food, papermaking, pharmaceutical, garment, paint and forage grass. By using oxygen bomb calorimeter and van Soes cellulose determination, comparison Leymus plant caloric value, lignin, dry weight, wet weight, holocellulose, of Panicum virgatum, Miscanthus. The mainly conclusions are as follows:1. Using IKA C2000 oxygen bomb calorimeter determination calorific value of samples. The caloric content of Leymus plant is similar of mode energy plants Panicum virgatum, calorific value of 18.68 kJ·g-1. The majority of samples and calorific value are close to Panicum virgatum. The highest value of L. coreanus and L. mollis is 18.67 kJ·g-1. Minimum calorific value is 17.83 kJ·g-1, L. pendulus. That can be transformed in Leymus potential energy is great, can further related to its evaluation index of energy plants.2. Van Soest cellulose determination method with FOSS cellulose determination of lignocellulose. Determination of various samples of cellulose, lignin, hemicellulose contentresults in the highest concentrations of L. pseudoracemosus, the content is 36.16%. The cellulose content was the highest in L. racemosus, the content is 32.04%. The lignin content was lowest L. salina, the content is 3.09%. Holocellulose content of L. racemosus is 62.08%. By the same method for the determination of contrast, energy plants Panicum virgatum hemicellulose content is 32.30%, the content of cellulose and lignin content of 25.02%,4.39%,57.33%; comparison of the holocellulose content, energy plants Miscanthus cellulose content of 36.68%, the content of cellulose, lignin content of 26.48%,7.15%,63.15% of the holocellulose content. Among them, Panicum virgatum hemicellulose, cellulose measured value is less than the expected value, the analysis should be the cultivation condition in contrast to Panicum virgatum sample has not reached the ideal state; Miscanthus measured values are more outstanding; sample Leymus plants, straw holocellulose content of total highest, secondly and Leymus angustus, Leymus secalinus close to Miscanthus, Panicum virgatum. holocellulose content of Panicum virgatum, this index reaches as high standard raw material sources of clean energy transformation.3. Samples of biomass yield in wet weight range is from 52.1 g to 288.6 g, the highest is L. pendulus 288.6 g, followed by L. arenarius 240.0 g, L. racemosus ssp. sabulosus 225.1 g, L. pseudoracemosus 211.6 g. Dry weight range is from 15.8 g to 94.4 g, the highest is L. pendulus 94.4 g, followed by L. arenarius 94.2 g, L. racemosus ssp. sabulosus 77.6 g, L. pseudoracemosus 76.6 g. From the data check, Panicum virgatum and Miscanthus biomass yield (wet weight) were 295.8 g,243.8 g. The yield of biomass (wet weight) than 180.0 g is higher biomass yield of Leymus range. With 9 samples reached the standard, and the index analysis is worth compared with each other to look for potential energy, excellent plant resources. Therefore, Leymus can further study as potential energy plants. At the same time, the higher corresponding index of species within the genus also in cellulosegarment, forage, paper and other industry comprehensive utilization.
