By junkyard abandoned land, high coverage grassland, grassland, arable land and labor elm woodland five plots sampled soil profiles. Use of different land use types of vegetation fractal structure of soil and infiltration capacity, the use of plant community ecology and hydrology of fractal theory and methods, the different land use types mechanical composition of soil particles and the soil water infiltration process analysis. For each soil sample fractal characteristics and different land use types of soil particle volume fractal dimension and the relationship between soil water infiltration, the results showed that:(1) the fractal dimension of soil particle size and soil composition are closely linked. Fractal dimension of soil particle size is smaller, the more its fine sand content; fractal dimension of soil particle size, the greater the clay content more. (2) Dump the soil under different land use types hydrolysis N, total N, available K, pH value and the fractal dimension of soil particle Dv values have a certain positive correlation. (3) Vegetation cover and soil moisture content is directly related to vegetation cover of the plots, the soil moisture content is high, the initial infiltration rate and soil moisture are negatively correlated. (4) Fractal dimension relationship with the initial infiltration rate are negatively correlated, abandoned land, arable land and elm woodland and stability of the fractal dimension is a positive correlation between the rate of infiltration, high coverage grassland, grassland and stability of the fractal dimension into infiltration rate actually was negative. Fractal dimension and stability in the relationship between infiltration rate than the initial infiltration rate close. Water infiltration through the soil model to calculate the fractal dimension of the impact on soil water infiltration mechanism for mine waste dump ecological reconstruction and rehabilitation to provide quantitative basis.
