The lem silkworm(lemon,lem)is a kind of yellow body color mutant because a large amount of sepiapterin(SP)has accumulated in the larval integument.The fundamental reason of a large number of accumulation of the SP,is a deletion of the 5 amino acids in mutant SPR carbon terminal.The lack of SPR is due to the mutation of SPR gene(BmSpr)of the lem silkworm,and then this causes genetic defects.While the i-lem silkworm contains i-lem gene,and this inhibits the expression of lem gene.Therefore,compared with the mutant of lem silkworm,the SP content on the larvae surface of i-lem silkworm mutant has decreased.This changes the off spring larvae color from light yellow to white,and this shows different degrees of mutation individuals of light color.But the i-lem gene has unclear understanding on the expression mechanism,so compare lem mutant and i-lem mutant is important to studying mechanism about them.This paper mainly observes the differences between lem mutation silkworm and i-lem mutation silkworm through morphology.The l82 p3(i-lem/+,lem/lem)is experimentally observed by the scanning electron microscope.The epidermal structure contains obvious granular material,while the rest ah09(lem/lem)?l82 p(i-lem/ i-lem,lem/lem)has no obvious substances.First,the experiments use high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)with UV detector,and analyze the SP content of five kinds of mutant silkworm.It found that the content of ah09 silkworm is the highest,followed by l82 p3,while the content of l83 and l82 p SP is not high,or even doesn't have.Then analyze the silkworm content,using HPLC in the relative area,and it doesn't find the difference in the composition of the five kinds of silkworm.Then we improve the method,using a fluorescence detector.In the process of analysis,it has found the differences in the five kinds of silkworm body composition.Namely,the l82 p and l83 at t = 5.7min has no signal,but this signal exists inah09 and l82 p3.Finally,through the use of infrared spectroscopy,analyze the functional groups.It is found that l82 p and l83 these two breeds contain carbon phosphorus bond,which is different from the other three kinds of silkworm.In conclusion,those experiments promote the study of the mechanism about inhibitor of lem.
