Rice is the most important food crop in our country whose seeded area and total production rank first in food crops.Our agricultural science experts have proposed wide-narrow row planting pattern of rice because of the planting density is the most critical issue of factors affecting the yield of rice.In China,rice production is of vast territory and rice planting density differs from each other according to various types of soil,climate and ecology.The row of traditional rice transplanter cannot be adjusted which has restricted each district play the advantages of local rice planting pattern.As a result,research of a spacing-adjustable high speed rice transplanter is one of the important means to break through the bottleneck of rice production in China in order to improve rice unit-production level and applicability of transplanter.Seedling box is an important component of rice transplanter.Its main job are carrying seeding and sending quantitative seeding in time.The reliability of seedling box affects the performance of whole machine directly.In order to make transplanter work continuously and ensure the uniformity of every seedling block,the seedling box should be designed to cooperate with separating-planting mechanism.Based on the current state and appliance of seedling box and performance requirements of whole machine,an adjustable spacing seedling box was designed and main parameters of key parts were identified.Then,a three-dimensional model was established and analyzed kinematically and dynamically.Finally,performance test was conducted.The main work was done as follows:(1)The article firstly introduced the overall design of the adjustable spacing seedling box and expounded its working principle.Next,force analysis of key parts was conducted and their main parameters were identified.(2)The three-dimensional model of adjustable spacing seedling box was established in CATIA software and the modal analysis of the seedling box unit was conducted in ANSYS software.According to the results of modal analysis and the condition of rice transplanter,the possible resonance case was analyzed.(3)After the rigid-flexible coupling model of adjustable spacing seedling box was established in ANSYS software and ADAMS software,the movements of seedling box were simulated in adjusting progress and seedling feeding progress.The influence of key parts on working reliability of the whole seedling box were analyzed through the simulation result.(4)Based on the rigid-flexible coupling simulation result,mechanical model of screw tooth was established.And then,this paper applied ANSYS and ANSYS/fe-safe software in static analysis and fatigue life calculation of screw teeth and discuss its effects on the service life of the whole machine.(5)The working reliability Analysis of adjustable spacing seedling box has been done on the basis of performance test result,which was conducted according to national standard.
