Shift-box mechanism is one of the main components for high-speed rice transplanter.Achieve its main job to send seedlings in transverse during transplanting and affected theamount of seedling and the reliability of performance to transplanter’s planting-arm inDirectly. In order to ensure uniformity of planting, the uniformity of width forplanting-arm grasping blanket geometries seedlings every time is the same as the amountof send seedlings in the laterally by Shift box mechanism, and uniformly send seedlings.There are more newer and higher requirements have been proposed for transplanter’sShift box mechanism follow with the environment, soil, agronomic’s development andchanges in the patterns of rice cultivation. It’s unable to achieve the technique withadjustable spacing wide-narrow row planting by traditional rice transplanter. As aconsequence of this, it’s the inevitable trend to develop wide-narrow row high speedadjustable spacing rice transplanter to meet needs of different rice varieties and diversecropping systems by the same type of rice transplanter, improve the scope andutilization rate of transplanter, combine with our new demand for rice cultivation modeto our transplanter industry at future, and it’s also to ensure the basis of the mechanizationof rice cultivation.It has a direct impact on the performance of rice transplanter by Shiftbox mechanism for seedling-box body, planting-arms and related working parts areconnected through Shift box mechanism and coordination with a body.The design scheme in this article was put forward basised on the relevant agronomicand design requirements, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing transplanter.Describe the high-speed adjustable spacing rice transplanter composition of Shift boxmechanism and the related factors and parameters of key parts in detail, designed a newstructural of helical axis, analyzed kinematics and dynamics from theory. Combined withsoftware, We analysis the work performance from the perspective of kinematics anddynamics simulation of rigid-flexible coupling for high-speed adjustable spacingtransplanter Shift box mechanism virtual prototype to find the main parameters affect theShift box mechanism performance. The main research contents in this article include:(1) The overall design scheme was described by the composition and workingprinciple of high-speed adjustable spacing rice transplanter Shift box mechanism,adjusting mechanism, seeding box, transplanting mechanism. Other than this, discussedthe parameters of screw axisin design in detail, analyze the strength of the component parts based on the finite element method.(2) The Optimization Model of Shift box mechanism transitional tracks was built bythe kinematics mathematical model, working characteristics and work requirements ofscrew axis, and got the unfolded curve of2D transitional tracks combined with Matlabsoftware and AutoCAD software.(3) The model of sliding sleeve and rotor which are in the Shift box mechanism willbe established by CATIA V5software, and importing optimized the unfolded curve of2D and projection, the result of above will obtain the precision model of screw axis afteroptimized, then, constraint relations which are matched with the Shift box mechanism, itwill get the parametric3D model and the VBS macro parameterized script file.(4) The article will analyse its vibration performance based on theoretical basis, andmake the screw axis of the Shift box mechanism virtualization, then combined withthree-dimensional software CATIA, the paper will study the modal analysis in thewhole process of screw axis working through using the finite element analysis softwareANSYS, which will get the natural frequency and mode of vibration affecting theworking performance of screw axis. In the process of modal analysisanalysis, it willgenerate the modal neutral file of screw axis, on this basis, the project will set up thevirtual prototype modal of Shift box mechanism which couple between rigid body andflexible body by ADAMS software, then it will be done motion simulation in threeconditions, including in pure rigid-flexible coupling model, rigid-flexible coupling buffermodal and balanced tension modal, finally, through testing, it will obtain the axialvelocity, acceleration and the force curves of the rotor.(5) When the third-order natural frequency is in the case of not less than800Hz, thearticle will combine with Isight software, ANSYS and ADAMS software to let the screwaxis of Shift box mechanism optimized in order to make its quality min.
