Recently, economic development was obvious for the public, and as the green landscape construction used to measure regional development level reflected the ability of environment and humanistic literacy, which put forward higher requirements for city greening and landscape level. Expert system is a complex system integrating many fields of technology and knowledge. Its main function is to collect all kinds of information, collection, classification, analysis, calculation, judgment, reasoning and decision-making. Under the background of rapid development of today's computer control field and artificial intelligence, expert system has made great progress. Developed countries in the world consider expert system as the basis of various industries and indispensable part in the process of modernization.In view of the above, this paper established a garden expert system adapted to the natural environment of north China based on the situation of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei province. Data visualization technology was applied in it, which makes the reasoning result more accurate, intuitive, accurate and understandable. Clustering algorithms, pattern matching algorithm and vector space model technology were used to query and get the result of expert diagnosis, in order to improve the diagnostic efficiency and accuracy. Relative database, rule base and knowledge base were established, providing the basic data for the operation of powerful expert system and for the reasoning process.According to north China garden expert system with data visualization, the users can see strategy result and explanation directly and vividly, and can fully know about each respect of garden construction. It makes reasoning result intuitive and makes great contribution to north China garden construction.
