Zhaohu Mountain was the important ecological security for the economically developed areas in Jiaodong Peninsula and also provided important ecosystem service functions for this region. In order to accurately understand and grasp the diversity of this region, this study used forest ecological system in Zhaohu Mountain as the research object, set 81 blocks with 30×30 meters of standard sample-plot for the forest community survey. In each plot,5 quadrats of 5×5 meters were chose for shrub sample records were chose for herbaceous investigation. This paper revealed the characteristics of the composition and diversity of the forest community in tree and shrub of woody plant by recording the kind of plant species and quantity. The interspecific associations of dominant species were also analyzed using quantity classification method of forest communities divided. Each type of forest plant diversity was also studied. This research provided scientific basis for the protection of better in the region forest biodiversity and ecosystem. The main conclusions were as follows:(1) In the 81 block standard sample-plots of Zhaohu Mountain forest, the total kinds of tree and shrub was 128 species of woody plants, belonged to 43 families,86 genera. There were woody plants of 61 species in 47 genera of 26 families of Hashimoto. The most family was Rosaceae with total 10 species in 6 genera. The other family with more genera included Legume, Ulmaceae and Juglandaceae etc. The other family with more species included Fagaceae, Leguminosae, Moraceae and Ulmaceae etc. The plants quantity of Sonko and Fagaceae had a very distinct advantage with more than 73% percentage of total number.(2) There were plants belonging to 34 families,76 genera,116 species of shrub in the Zhaohu Mountain forest community. The Rosaceae family was also the biggest family with total 12 genera, followed by Leguminosae, Oleaceae and so on. Rosaceae also included species with the largest number with a total of 19 species, followed by Legume, Fagaceae and Celastraceaeetc. Fagaceae oak was including the number of species most. There were 60 single species in single genus of Euonymus of Celastraceae and Ulmus of Ulmaceae with 78.95% of total genera number.(3) Zhaohu Mountain forest plant community species of trees and shrubs overall association showed a significant positive correlation. The tree species showed extremely significant positive associations, and the positive correlation was 7 times of the negative correlation. Cerasus serrulata and Rhus chinensis and other six kinds of species showed significantly positive correlation. Shrub species showed a highly significant positive correlation between positive and negative association ratio of 3:2. Grewia biloba and Rubus crataegifolius stack belly and other seven species showed significantly positive correlation.(4) The TWINSPAN data classification results showed that Zhaohu Mountain forest communities can be divided into 6 community types. Ass. Pinus densiflora -Lespedeza bicolor+ Vitex negundo -Oplismentls undulatifolius type, Ass. Pinus densiflora -Quercus wutaishansea+ Castanea mollissima -Carex rigescenstype, Ass. Robinia pseudoacacia -Rhus chinensis+ Pinus densiflora -Miscanthus sinensistype, Ass. Quercus wutaishansea -Rubus crataegifolius-Triarrhena saccharifloratype, Ass. Quercus acutissima -Viburnum dilatatum - Oplismentls undulatifoliustype and Ass. Rhus chinensis - Quercus aliena -Rosa multiflora -Carex siderostictatype.(5) In the six kinds of forest community types, the richness, multi degree, Simpson diversity index, incense Shannon diversity index were significant differences in the over story woody plant. Only Pielou index was no significant difference in different forest types. There were some differences between the composition and diversity of shrub, which was similar to that of tree.
