Our country has a coastline of 18000 kilometers, the island coastline of 14000 kilometers, is rich in seafood resources. China's seafood comes from the fishing industry and breeding industry, now marine fishing output growth is slow, the supply of seafood will mainly rely on mariculture. However, China's offshore development degree has become increasingly saturated, and the extensive cultivation mode has brought many problems, such as the deterioration of water quality, aquatic food chain is destroyed, offshore environmental carrying capacity has reached the limit. Water depth more than 20 m is away from the coast and relatively open, is the "natural sea ranch" of aquaculture, therefore the deep cultivation technology becomes the trend of the development of mariculture.Net cages is in complex conditions, where wave is high, stream is rapid. Flow dynamic can use traditional fishing mechanics theory, and research about wave action has not acquire enough attention, causing the effect of the destroy of net cage, brought a series of production losses, weakened the development of marine fishery.Net is a basic component of the cages, the scientific researcher pay more attention to net than other components. Because of basic building blocks of net is cable, cable belong to the small scale of flexible structures, the traditional wave theory can't solve the problem, on the other hand prototype observation is very difficult, so the physical model test become an important research method, model similarity criterion is on the basis of a position.Based on the method of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and physical model test, fishing net similarity criterion is studied and discussed. Based on traditional wave theory wave action is established, put forward the similarity criterion of the net and use the lumped mass model and physical model test method was verified by good trial. Small scale was validated by physical model test the change does not affect the stress of within a certain range, for the laboratory prototype mesh instead of mesh model. Physical model test method was used to study mesh clustering.
