Outstanding Chinese jujube cultivars were introduced in Xinjiang as research object for observing trees and fruits biological characteristics and screening fresh jujube and dry-jujube excellent cultivars.(1) Dabailing, Linqinzao, Pinguozao, Luzao NO.2, Shanximianzao and Xinledazao were strong tree vigor. Luzao NO.2, Luzao NO.5 were strong sprouting ability. The economic characters which about number of bearing, fruit to bearing, length of bearing and yield per plant coefficient of variation was more than 20%. There were significant differences in reproductive growth..(2) Quantitative characters of fruit and stone(Weight of fruit, Stone transverse length, Fruit transverse length, Weight of stone, Stone side length, Stone shape index, Stone vertical length, Fruit shape index, Fruit vertical length, Stone tip length, Edible rate) were also investigated. The variability of the core were bigger than fruit. Cluster analysis showed that 48 Chinese Jujube cultivars can be divided into 7 groups. Stone and fruit morphology between groups show large stone, large fruit. large stone, medium fruit. medium stone, medium fruit. medium stone, small fruit. small stone, small fruit changes,which indicated that the genetic background of them were completely dissimilar to others.(3) 21 Chinese jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) cultivars were introduced in Xinjiang as research object for evaluating fresh-eating cultivars. The results showed that: from germination to fruit mature days, the longest was Dabailing and the shortest was Luzao NO.1. Dabailing, Pinguozao, Dadanzao, Yanchuanbaizao, Luzao NO.1 were the high yielding cultivars group. The results of Principal component analysis showed that the comprehensive quality of Pinguozao, Dadanzao, Yanchuanbaizao, Luzao NO.1 and Fenmiguanzao were the best group. Pinguozao, Dadanzao, Yanchuanbaizao, Luzao NO.1 were the best cultivars group, which can be used as the main cultivars of fresh jujube in the future.(4) 30 Chinese jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) cultivars were introduced in Xinjiang as research object for evaluating dry-jujube cultivars. The results showed that: from germination to fruit mature days, the longest was Wanronglougeda and the shortest was Xinledazao. The results of factor analysis indicated that the comprehensive quality of Xinzhengdazao, Guluzao, Jinsi NO.1, Luzao NO.12 and Lvfendan were the best group. The present studying examined that all cultivars were able to adapt to the climate and site condition of Xinjiang Xinzhendazao, Guluzao, Lvfendan, Luzao No5, Luzao No4 were the best cultivars group, which can be used as the main cultivars of dry- jujube in the future.
