The Growth Performance Of Seven Wine Grape Strains In Zhangfang Of Beijing

The rencent research was taken on a five-year-old vineyard located in Zhangfang,Beijing.Cabeinet Sauvignon(337,169),Merlot(181,343,347),Cabernet Franc 327 and Chardonnay were invited to investigate their yield component and oenology characteristics in 4 growth period.The result showed that the phenological period of Cabernet Sauvignon,Merlot,Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay were different.Chardonnay was earlier than the other three while Cabernet Sauvignon was later.The first growth peak of shoot was from the middle of May to the beginning of June.The growth peak of Cabernet Sauvignon was one week later than the other three varieties.Merlot got the biggest clusters among four varieties.The biggest cluster of Merlot 347 was 180.4 g,in addition.The smallest cluster of Chardonnay was 125.3 g.The longest berry diameter of Cabernet Franc was 1.72 cm and 1.76 g.The berry of Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay were the same,but both smaller than that of Merlot.The concentration of total suger of Merlot was the highest while that of Chardonnay was the lowest.Cabernet Sauvignon got the highest concentration of titratable acid,while Cabernet Franc got the lowest.Cabernet Franc got the highest juice yield while Chardonnay got the lowest one.No significant difference was found anmong different strains in shoot,young leaves,mature leaves,berry morphology,number of seeds.Difference was found in cluster weight,of which Cabernet Sauvignon 337,169,Merlot181 and 347 was 152.4 g,135.8 g,176.3 g and 180.4 g.Based on the recent result,a conclusion could be made that Merlot and Cabernet Franc was more suitable to the environment of Zhangfang,especially Merlot 343.
