The effects of spraying gibberellin in the Cabernet Franc grape(Vitis vinifera L.cv.)mainly include peduncle and berry quality.The main effects of peduncle including peduncle length,shoot length,leaf and cluster compactness;the main effects of berry quality including grape pulp physical and chemical indicators,phenolic compounds and aroma compounds.In this test,Cabernet Franc grape was chosen as study materials.The effects of Cabernet Franc grape berry peduncle with gibberellin treatments or water before flower was studied.Cabernet Franc grape berry are located in Taila Winery in Rushan,Weihai,Shandong,China.As well as the effects of berry quality caused by elongation of peduncle with spraying of gibberellin or water.The test results are as follows:The effects of spraying gibberellin on the peduncle were increased with the increase of gibberellin concentration,but there was not significantly different only between control group and 50 mg/L group.There was not significantly different on shoot length,leaf number and cluster compactness.The effects of spraying gibberellin on grape berry quality were mainly including the physical and chemical indicators,phenolic compounds and aroma compounds.The berry weight,berry average weight,berry skin fresh weight,berry skin dry weight,seed fresh weight,seed dry weight,soluble solids contents(TSS),pH and the titratable acid(TA)in different periods were different from those of control group(p<0.05),but there was not significantly different between control group and gibberellin treatments in ripening Cabernet Franc all the way(p<0.05).Most of the control group in E-L 31 and E-L 38 were higher and the titration acid of the control group was lower.There was not also significantly different between fruit setting rate,berry average seed rate and yield between control and gibberellin treatments(p<0.05).The contents of anthocyanins,total phenols,flavanols(peel,seed)and flavonoids were not significantly different between control group and gibberellin treatments,besides flavonoids between control group,5 mg/L group and 50 mg/L group(p<0.05).There were not significantly different in total anthocyanin content,anthocyanin classification,total flavonol content and flavonol classification between control group and gibberellin treatments at harvest time(p<0.05).The content of total anthocyanins and total flavonoids in control group were the highest,and the flavonoids content in control group was the highest as well.Epicatechin gallate(ECG)in grape peel's terminal subunits was significantly different between control group and 20 mg/L group,and the flavanols content of F3'H/F3'5'H ratio in grape peel was significantly different between control group,20 mg/L group and 50 mg/L group(p<0.05).The flavanols content of F3'H/F3'5'H ratio in grape peel was between 1.58 and 1.73,and the ECG of control group and 20 mg/L group in grape peel's terminal subunits were 2.04 and 2.43 mg/kg(FW),respectively.There was not significantly different between control group and gibberellin treatments in Cabernet Franc aroma compouds(p<0.05),except(E)-2-hexenal in free aroma compouds between control group and 50 mg/L group(p<0.05).(E)-2-hexenal of control group and 50 mg/L group were 15.97,25.75 ?g/L,respectively.The Cabernet Franc peduncle with 50 mg/L gibberellin treatment had a significant effect before flower.At same times,Cabernet Franc berry only had a significant reduction in the berry average weight in the E-L 38 harvest time.Flavonoids content in E-L 36 was significantly reduced.The flavanols content of F3'H/F3'5'H ratio in grape peel in E-L 38 was significantly increased,and(E)-2-hexenal in free aroma compouds had an increasing effect significantly(p<0.05).
