The CIDE family proteins(cell death–inducing DNA fragmentation factor 45-like effectors) are lipid droplet-associated proteins that modulate various aspects of lipid metabolic processes. It has been reported that CIDEa and CIDEc could be involved in lipid droplets fusion, lipids metabolism and metabolic disorder diseases. However, there is scarcely any study about expression analysis of CIDEa and CIDEc in broiler chickens.In this paper we isolated RNA from several tissues of AA broiler chickens(fat-type broiler lines) and Ningdu Sanhuang broiler chickens(lean-type broiler lines) and then performed qPCR analysis to measure the tissue distribution pattern of CIDEa and CIDEc genes in 6-week-old AA chickens, developmental expression pattern of CIDEa and CIDEc genes in AA chickens that of 2-week-old(2W), 4-week-old(4W) and 6-week-old(6W), expression difference of CIDEa and CIDEc genes between two chicken lines that of 6-week-old, expression difference of CIDEa and CIDEc genes in 6-week-old AA chickens which by fasting 24 hours. The results show as follow:1?Tissue expression pattern indicated that CIDEa and CIDEc genes were expressed in various tissues of broiler chickens and expression trends were similar. Particularly,both CIDEa and CIDEc mRNAs were dominantly expressed in white adipose tissues,and were also expressed at moderate level in liver, kidney and ovary.2?The developmental expression pattern indicated that CIDEa and CIDEc genes expression levels in five tissues and serum TG level improved during different developmental stages, achieving expression peak at 6W. The size of LDs in 4W chickens was extremely significant larger compared to 2W chickens, at the same time it was highly significant smaller compared to 6W chickens.3?CIDEa and CIDEc genes levels in six tissues were significantly higher in AA chickens than that in Ningdu Sanhuang chickens. And compared with Ningdu Sanhuang chickens, levels of serum TG, TC, LDL-Ch and LDs size were significantly larger in AA chickens.4?CIDEa and CIDEc genes expression levels in eight tissues were different degree increased in fasting group than that in control group. Among them, the five parts of adipose tissues were the most obvious.The results in this study can contribute to the knowledge on expression analysis of CIDEa and CIDEc genes and facilitate the underlying molecular mechanism about lipid metabolism and fat deposition in broiler chickens in the further research.
