Rice is the most important crops in China and Southeast Asia, so it is necessary to ensure its growth and production safety. Plant protection work in rice production and growth processes make a big difference in agriculture development, however, the technolo gical level of rice plant protection machinery will also affect whether our country could achieve the goal of the development of agricultural modernization. This paper, make s a study on the self walking type rice spraying machine depending on how to improve working efficiency and pesticide utilization rate of rice protection and how to protect rice production safety and sustainable development of agriculture. It made an analysis on the current situation of rice plant protection, find a new way on application to rice. It use Shandong public synthetic 3WPS-300 self walking type spray rod spraying machine as the prototype, then made overall improvement in the design and the support structure of spray ing, and also made mechanical analysis and physical prototype test on the key components praying supports.1. In this paper, the improved spraying machine is made of the biggest paddy field wheel,diameter up to 1.3m,fully meet the prevention and the treatment in the whole growth period of the rice. Considering the limitations of the small scale of field operations, it supposed the effective width seting to be 6m. Spraying system design includes adjustable o f spraying support, spraying bracket, spraying nozzle, and the spray angle. When the new s ystemwere finished, itcan achieve shroud upper machine spraying in the early growth period of rice, and leaf crown under spraying in the later growth period and makes precision spraying and efficient application to be the truth.2. This paper made a new design depending on the original machine spray lance, nozz le redesign and distribution. Through the use of computational fluid analysis and the calcul ation of the pressure loss, the pressure at the nozzle can reach nozzle atomization requir ements.3. Spray rod bracket hangs in the spray tail connected by a hinge connection, baring the pressure from the spray rod, liquid of the spraying system, and self gravity. In order to verify the structural stability of the support, this paper uses Workbeach ANSYS software to do the finite element simulation analysis of the support and the wing support, and obtains the stress and the stress diagram in the actual application process. Through the analysis of the results it found the fact that the spraying process can meet the application requirements,and can also satisfy the 9m spray amplitude stability requirements.4.The test is the best standard for certify whether the study is success or not.Through the design, manufacturing and assembly for the part machine, the entire spraying machine prototype is built, finished the prototype application. Spraying machine field application showed that compared with the shroud upper spraying, spray rod extends into the leaf crown with a spray can greatly improve pesticide insecticidal activity and rice planthopper mortality has greatly improved. And spraying process, spraying machine for rice in stable in field work, smooth running, turn flexible action, in rice reach their maximum height did not hurt the rice, it can satisfy the application demand of the entire growth cycle.
