It has caused great concern on the excessive emissions of CO2.Forest carbon sink is the most effective and environmental friendly way to slow down the concentration of CO2 and the estimation methods of forest carbon is the judgment to forest carbon sink.However,statistical method is adopted to estimate forest carbon quite often.There exists a critical value cannot be traced back to the nation's highest standards of measurement and lack a set of generally accepted international carbon sink metering system.Therefore,this article starts with the amount of carbon sink of individual plant,developed micro carbon assimilation of measurement device based on chamber method and made a careful observation of the plant growth in the assimilation box and environmental parameters.The main research works are shown as follows:First of all,for the study of carbon sink of individual plant,a micro carbon assimilation of measurement device was developed.This device has advantages of good sealing,good light transmission and temperature and humidity control.It not only can simulate the natural environment outside the box,but also create an artificial environment as required.Second,the corresponding measurement sensors were chosen and the measuring device and hardware circuit for this device were des igned.Measured parameters include temperature,humidity,concentration of CO2,photosynthetic active radiation and diameter variation of the plant.The software programs and the PC interface were compiled,which realize the observation of the plant growth in the assimilation box and environmental parameters.Finally,some experiments were conducted.The sealing performance of the box was tested and the results show that the assimilation box conforms to level 3 seal leakage rate stipulated in the enclosure.The temperature control experiments show that this method has the advantages of good cooling effect,fast response,the cooling speed is greater than 2 ? per minute,temperature inside below 10? outside.Experiments on the growth of ping tree in the assimilation box were conducted.Temperature,humidity,concentration of CO2,photosynthetic active radiation and diameter variation of the plant were observed.The experimental data were analyzed and processed,and the changes of the physiological parameters of the tree were obtained.The relationship between the growth of the tree and the concentration of CO2 was studied.The research of this paper provides the experimental and theoretical basis for the study of the carbon sequestration capacity of plants and t he estimation of carbon sink of individual plants.
