| ABSTRACT:In this paper,we investigate and analyze phenotypic traits of part of rose varieties in Zhengzhou Institute of landscape and Gardening.Attempting to establish a mathematical model to appraise 81 hybrid tea roses by fuzzy mathematics method.During the investigation,we found that there are fewer plants of two cultivars(Rosa hybrida)’Tao Zhuo Lan Tian’(Bred by Zhengzhou Institute of landscape and Gardening)and ’Bei Jing Huo Yan’(A rare Climbing rose).So we study technology of tissue culture on these two varieties(Rosa hybrida),in order to establish the foundation for landscape application of these two cultivars(Rosa hybrida).In order to provide references for breeding,introduction and landscape application of Rosa hybrida in Zhengzhou through this stud.The experimental results were as following:1.The investigation and analysis of 299 rose varieties in Zhengzhou Institute of landscape and Gardening.In 299 rose varieties,except for 3 Chinese old roses,there are 201 hybrid tea rose varieties,accounting for 67.22%of total varieties;57 floribunda rose varieties,accounting for 19.06%;21 miniature rose varieties,accounting for 7.02%;17 Climbing rose varieties,accounting for 5.69%.According to colors,299 rose varieties could be divided into 8 groups,there are 73 rose varieties in red color,accounting for 24.41%of total varieties;54 pink rose varieties,accounting for 7.06%;49 yellow rose varieties,accounting for 16.39%;27 white rose varieties,accounting for 9.03%;21 rose varieties of rare color,accounting for 7.02%;17 red-orange rose varieties,accounting for 4.68%;6 orange rose varieties,accounting for 2%.2.The integrated assessment of ornamental characteristics for 81 Hybrid tea rose varieties in Zhengzhou Institute of landscape and Gardening.By using Fuzzy Mathematics method,10 ornamental characters of hybrid tea rose including flower colouration,flower diameter,flower pattern,flowers per spray,early blooming period,fragrance,plant height,numbers of petals,leaf texture,thorns were selected to assess the ornamental value of 81 hybrid tea rose varieties.Based on expert scoring and mathematical model,these hybrid tea rose could be classified as higher(Ⅰ),high(Ⅱ),normal(Ⅲ)and low(Ⅳ)for 4 grades.There are 20 hybrid tea rose varieties at Ⅰ(>85 scores)grades,31 Hybrid Tea Rose varieties at Ⅱ(80-85 scores)grades,15 Hybrid tea rose varieties at Ⅲ(75-80 scores),15 Hybrid tea rose varieties at Ⅳ(<75 scores)grades.3.The study of tissue culture and rapid propagation on modern rose 4 Tao Zhuo Lan Tian’(Bred by Zhengzhou Institute of landscape and Gardening)and ’Bei Jing Huo Yan’(A rare Climbing rose).Stems contained axillar buds from modern rose ’Tao Zhuo Lan Tian’ and ’Bei Jing Huo Yan’ were used as explants for vitro rapid propagation.Sterilization method of ’Tao Zhuo Lan Tian’ was 75%ethanol(45s)for surface sterilization,0.1%Hgcl2 was used to disinfect for 8 min.Sterilization method of ’Bei Jing Huo Yan’ was that,first,75%ethanol was used for surface sterilization for 45s,0.1%Hgcl2 was used as disinfectant for 8min,second,rinse it twice with sterile water,finally 0.1%Hgcl2 was used as disinfectant for 8min again.The optimum medium for modern rose ’Tao Zhuo Lan Tian’ adventitious bud induction was MS+2.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.15 mg/L NAA,the optimum medium for proliferation was MS+1.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.15 mg/L NAA,the optimum rooting medium was 1/2 MS+0.2 mg/L NAA.The optimum medium for modern rose ’Bei Jing Huo Yan’ adventitious bud induction was MS+1.5 mg/L+0.15mg/L NAA,the optimum medium for proliferation was MS+2.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.15mg/L NAA,the optimum rooting medium was 1/2 MS+0.2 mg/L NAA. |
