| As the main component of terrestrial ecosystem,forest plays a very important role in preserving,maintaining and improving a sound ecological environment.So far forest vegetation have been more and more cleared away,the balance and sustainability of forest ecosystems and associated environment have been serious threatened due to the lack of understanding of forest ecological benefit,residential consumption of wood energy,excessive logging of trees.So,as one part of the large scale national ecological construction,implementation of returning farmland to forest focus to improve the ecological environment by the following measures: alternating energy sources,using clean energy,restricted cutting.This study took Fujiang river power station project area in Majiang county of Guizhou province as a case study.Data were collected form field survey,forest resources inventory,and social public.The analytic hierarchy process,expert scoring method and frequency method have been used to screened sound indicators and established suitable evaluation index system of forest ecological service function value in the study area.By application of quantitative and qualitative values,the forest ecosystem service function values of the Fujiang river power station project area has been evaluated,according to the forest ecosystem service function evaluation specification(LY/T1721-2008)released by the state forestry administration in 2008.The main results were as follows:(1)After the implementation of the small hydropower for fuel project,the forest ecological system of the whole project area provided great function values of water conservation,soil conservation,carbon sequestration and oxygen release,tree nutrient accumulation 5368796.35 m3/a,32334.80 t/a,65488.15t/a,1119.27 t/a separately.The ecological service function value of Pinus massoniana Lamb andCupressus funebris forest ecosystems totaled 138.6534 million yuan/a.The value of the four forest ecological service function sorted in descending ordered:carbon release oxygen function(72.6702 million yuan/a)> water conservation function(44.4512 million yuan/a)> tree nutrition accumulation function(13.3351 million yuan/a)> soil conservation function(8.1969 million yuan/a).(2)Small hydropower for fuel project significantly increased the quality of the forest ecosystem services.Pinus massoniana Lamb and Cupressus funebris forest ecosystems in the project area conserved 20662.04 m3/hm2·a water and 119.1 t/hm2·a soil,increased 20.5% and 29.7% than that of the surrounding area.Carbon sequestration and oxygen release were 220.49 t/hm2·a,40.2% higher than out project area.These two ecosystems also accumulated nutrient 3.49 t/hm2·a,48.5% higher than out project area.(3)The total value of forest ecosystem service functions per unit area of the small hydropower for fuel project were 487200 yuan/hm2·a,an increase of 33.6%,than that of the surrounding noun project area.In detail,the small hydropower for fuel project have increased the quota of forest ecosystem service function value as follows: Carbon sequestration and oxygen release(71400 yuan/hm2·a)> water conservation(29100 yuan/hm2·a)> nutrient accumulation(13800 yuan/hm2·a)> soil conservation(8100yuan/hm2·a).On the whole,small hydropower for fuel project had a greatest influence on the function value of carbon sequestration and oxygen release,followed by function value of water conservation.Therefore,we concluded that small hydropower for fuel project plays an important role in improving the forest ecological service function value and sustainable developing of forest region.This research may provide a reference for direct understanding the benefit effect of small hydropower for fuel project on forest ecological service function value,awareness local people of protecting ecosystem service,sustainable development and management of forest,and eco-environment planning. |
