The test mainly studies effect of Yorkshire,New USA strain of Duroc,different hybrid combinations on growth,carcass traits,meat quality,nutritive value in growing-finishing pigs.The Landrace (male) and large white (female) hybrid, hybrid offspring were referred for LY, Duroc (male) and large white (female) hybridization, hybrid offspring said DY, Duroc (male) and DY (female) hybrid offspring to call the DDY.Five breeds with 20 pigs of each breeds were selected as Yorkshire(YY),New USA strain of Duroc(we call the EB5),LY,DY and DDY with the similar weight about (65.38±2.02) kg.All the pigs were fed the same diet.Experimental period was 42d. Before the slaughter,each group was selected 5 finishing pigs with the similar weight about(102.28 ±1.34) kg. By analysi of the items like slaughter performance and meat quality,we expected to make sure the effects of different breeds,different hybrid combinations on growth performance,carcass traits,meat quality,nutritive value in finishing pigs.The results showed that:1)Growth performance:Compared with the YY group,the average daily gain of EB5 group and LY group was significantly higher(P<0.05),The F/G was significantly lower (P<0.05); Compared with the YY group, the average daily feed intake of DY group and DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05),the average daily gain was very significantly higher(P<0.01), The F/G was very significantly lower (P<0.01); Compared with the EB5 group,the average daily gain of DY group and DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05), The F/G was significantly lower (P<0.05), The average average daily gain and F/G of DY group and DDY group had no significant difference(P>0.05); Compared with the LY group,the average daily gain of DY group and DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05), The F/G was significantly lower (P<0.05).2)Carcass performance:The slaughter weight and carcass length of LY and DY and DDY and EB5 had no significant difference(P>0.05); Compared with the YY group, the slaughter rate of EB5 group was significantly higher(P<0.05), the back-fat thickness was very significantly lower (P<0.01),the eye muscle area and lean meat percentage were very significantly higher (P<0.01); Compared with the LY group,the lean meat percentage of DY group was significantly higher (P<0.05); Compared with the LY group, the back-fat thickness of DDY group was significantly lower(P<0.05), the eye muscle area and lean meat percentage were significantly higher (P<0.05);Compared with the DY group,the eye muscle area of DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05); The eye muscle area of DY group and LY group had no significant difference(P>0.05).3)Meat quality:Compared with the YY group, the marbling score,cooked meat and napole yield percentage of EB5 group were significantly higher (P<0.05); the drip loss was significantly lower(P<0.05),the shear force was very significantly lower (P<0.01); Compared with the LY group, the shear force of DY group were significantly lower(P<0.05); Compared with the LY group,the marbling score of DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05), the shear force was very significantly lower (P<0.01); Compared with the DY group, the shear force of DDY group was significantly lower (P<0.05).4)Nutritional value:The water,crude ash,TVB-N,calcium phosphorus and crude protein of YY group,LY group,DY group,DDY group and EB5 group had no significant difference(P>0.05);Compared with the YY group,the Inosine mono-phosphate of LY group,DY group and DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05);Compared with the YY group, the intramuscular fat of EB5 group was very significantly higher(P<0.01);Compared with the LY group, the intramuscular fat of DY group and DDY group was very significantly higher(P<0.01);Compared with the DY group,the intramuscular fat of DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05); Compared with the YY group,the essential amino acid,flavor amino acid and total amino acid of LY group,DY group,DDY group was significantly higher(P<0.05);Compared with the YY group,the saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids of EB5 group was very significantly higher(P<0.01);Compared with the LY group,the saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids of DY group and DDY group was very significantly higher(P<0.01);Compared with the DY group, the saturated fatty acids of DDY was significantly higher(P<0.05);Compared with the DY group, the saturated fatty acids of DDY was very significantly higher(P<0.01).Conclusion:In the growth performance,the growth performance of EB5 was better than Yorkshire,hybrid pigs was better purebred pigs.This was fully reflected the heterosis.The carcass traits of EB5,DDY and DY was better than LY and Yorkshire.The meat quality of EB5 and DDY was the best,followed by DY.The meat quality of LY and Yorkshire was the worst.The nutritive value of DDY was the best,followed by EB5 and DY,The nutritive value of LY and Yorkshire was the worst.
