At present, the major problems of the double cropping rice mechanical transplanting are as follows:there are certain risks in high and steady yield and full heading of late-season rice, mechanical transplanting became the bottlenecks of the whole machine production of double cropping rice transplanting area. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out researches to solve the problems, such as transplanting of rice double cropping supporting technology of double cropping rice and transplanting of rice, which are of significance to the accommodation of large-scale production and the improvement of the efficiency of rice production. This study analyzes the seed application rate, seedling age and variety pattern in the middle of the Hunan province and studies the effects of four methods. The conclusions are as follows:1. The days of the double cropping rice whole growth stages of mechanical transplanting were prolonged by over 9 days. To ensure high and steady yield and full heading of late-season rice, we could think the variety pattern of short growth period, such as early-season rice with middle maturity and late-season rice with early maturity or early-season rice with early maturity and late-season rice with middle maturity.2. The seeds application rates of the double cropping rice mechanical transplanting were increased. Increase the seeds application rate can be applied to regulate the quantity and quality of the double cropping rice, then to take the high yield the seed application rate, which solves the problems such as mechanical damage in seedling, extension of turning green stage and shortening of tillering stage. The seeds application rates were recommended as:52.5kg/hm~2 for early-season and 41.25kg/hm~2 for late-season rice.3. By testing different seedling age of the double cropping rice mechanical transplanting, the growth and development of individuals are influenced by big seed application rate and extension of seedling age, thus the seeding age should not be too long. The most appropriate seeding age of early-season rice and late-season rice are respectively 22 to 25 days and 21 to 24 days, which ensures high yield and full heading of rice.4. The production efficiency of the double cropping rice mechanical transplanting was significantly higher than manual transplanting and throwing transplanting. The net income of the double cropping rice mechanical transplanting was 16,098.5 Yuan/hm~2. when compared with manual planting and throwing transplant, it increased by 3,454.5 Yuan/hm~2 and 1,821 Yuan/hm~2 respectively and the increase rates were 27.8% and 12.8%.
