Located in the central Jinhua-quzhou basin, between N28°44′-N29°17, E19°02′—E119°20′,Longyou County is rich in sunshine, comfortable temperature, rain, especially in spring and summer.Both draught and excessive rain are obvious here. The annual average temperature is17.1℃,,≥10℃.The active accumulated temperature is5441℃. It is the second suitable area for double cropping riceplanting, where the active accumulated temperature is relatively not rich in the whole year, therefore,the connection of the cropping rice planting before and after the crop planting is very tight, meanwhile,it is easy for seeds and shoots of early season rice become rot in low temperature and the continuouscropping late rice can’t grow ears completely in low temperature.The rice transplanters and the technique of them develop rapidly since2007in Longyou, whichowns87rice transplants in2013. The area of rice machine inserted is more than3238hm2, whose ratereaches15.57percent. However, the speed of it has grown very fast in five years at first and decreasedin the past two years. The problems are as follows: As a result of the wrong variety selection and match,the continuous cropping late rice of the mechanically-transplanting can’t grow ears completely as wellas the products are low; The quality of the seedlings is low, leading to the low machinery transplantingand the rate of the vacant holes is high, too;Related conclusion is drawn based on a series of experiments and investigations on restrainingfactors and the statistical analysis of the results. That is, variety selection experiments ofmechanical-transplanting double cropping rice, seedling breeding experiments on different spawnamount of early rice, seedling breeding experiments on different spawn amount of late hybrid rice,high-yielding cultivation technology of mechanical-transplanting double cropping rice andtechnological investigation on mechanical-transplanting promotion of seedlings’ survival early sprouts,By experiments on pairs variety combinations, better combinations are chosen asmechanical-transplanting double cropping rice, like Zhongjiazao17-Yongyou9, Zhongjiazao17-Yongyou15, Zhongjiazao17-Xiushui134, Zhongjiazao17-Shaonuo9714, Jinzao47-Yongyou15,Jinzao47-Yongyou9, Jinzao47-Zheyou18.Seedling breeding experiments on different spawn amount of early rice and late hybrid rice showthat the appropriate spawn amount of the early rice with a seedling age of no more than25d is160g perplate(24.5cm*60cm),120~140g per plate for that with a seedling age of more than25d,450plates/hm2.As for the late rice (late hybrid rice), the appropriate spawn amount is70~80g per plate,300plates/hm2.Uniform planting obviously decreases the cavity rate of mechanical-transplanting, bringbasically identical seedlings per hole, improve population tillering ability, which is helpful to reach orapproach effective panicles in total.Experiments on mechanical-transplanting promotion of seedlings’ survival early sprouts show thatwell-distributed, healthy rice seedling is the premise of early sprouts, which has high quality, morenutrient accumulation, recovers easily from the wound in mechanical-transplanting, sends the roots early, absorbs nutrition from soil and separates tiller early. Enough fertilizers before sowing and topapplication of fertilizers at early stages can promote the early sprouts of mechanical-transplantingseedlings. Applying base fertilizer enough and additional fertilizer early as well as water management inthe scientific way can improve early sprouts of mechanical-transplanting rice.From researches on high-yielding cultivation technology of mechanical-transplanting doublecropping rice, results show as follows. Firstly, choosing improved varieties suitable formechanical-transplanting is the key to high and stable yield, especially essential to ensure the safety ofthe ear formal earring of late rice. Secondly, breeding healthy seedlings is the premise, which needsappropriate spawn amount, prevention of the seedling blight of early rice and spindling control of laterice. Thirdly, enough basic seedlings are the foundation. Uniform seedling number per hole and enoughbasic seedlings ensure higher population ear numbers, reach totally sufficient panicles, benefitindividual growth, form big ears and bring high seed-setting rate. Fourthly, early sprouts are guarantee.It brings early turning green, early tiller, prolongs effective tillering period, improves low position tiller,increases total tillers, and reaches totally sufficient panicles. Also, it promotes healthy individual growth,and increases grain number and seed-setting rate, realizing high and stable yield ofmechanical-transplanting double cropping rice.
