In recent years, the rapid development of the aquatic products providing people a lot of delicious and nutritious food.Meanwhile, aquatic safety issues are also increasingly prominent. To protect the local brand and ensure a good market order,we need to establish a complete traceability system.Stichopus japonicus is a kind of high quality aquatic products and famous geo products, and the whole industry chain traceability for Stichopus japonicus is an important means of protection.Baby Stichopus japonicus as an indispensable part of the whole traceability chain is very important. In this study, each sampling point is selected from indoor aquaculture juveniles and their food, the same sample at different times of the juveniles and their food and natural farming under reference. In this paper,we have used of C,N stable isotope techniques combined with food source analysis, and finalized the impact of environmental factors on Stichopus japonicus providing support for the whole industry chain traceability.Based on the study of C,N stable isotope of the juveniles Stichopus japonicus cultivated indoor,we finally resulted that the value of C,N stable isotope in body wall is higher than the gut about 1.5‰,and under the same natural environment, the same artificial environment, but different growth time, the Stichopus japonicus's C,N stable isotope values are substantially the same.According to the food source analysis of the indoor aquaculture juveniles,we come to the conclusion that large leafy contribute the highest rate of 0.328(± 0.036),oyster shell powder contribute the minimum rate of 0.182(± 0.035),the remaining mud is 0.236(± 0.022),and dry Marine rainbow is 0.254(±0.030).Therefore,the C stable isotope of juveniles Stichopus japonicus cultivated indoor derived mainly from large leafy plant.Based on the study of Stichopus japonicus which fed in nature. We find that the value of ?13C in adult Stichopus japonicus under natural conditions is higher than artificial farmed about 2.5‰,but ?15N value is lower by about 2.5‰,which imply that the environment do a great impact on the C,N stable isotope in Stichopus japonicus. The last, used C,N stable isotope to discriminate the Stichopus japonicus from different areas, the resolution ratio reached 71.5%.Finally,the conclusion we obtained from the studies played a great help to the whole industry chain of Stichopus japonicus tracing.
