China is the largest country of sweet potato cultivation.In recent years,sweet potato growers are eager to realize mechanized production as soon as possible.The existing potato harvesting machinery mainly refers to potato harvesting machinery,which is lack of pertinence.In addition,the treatment of the vine is more manual processing,laborious,although there are several sweet potato vine processing machinery,the function is relatively simple.On the basis of understanding the existing domestic and foreign sweet potato production machinery,a compound machine can be used to realize the harvest of sweet potato and the recovery of vine at the same time.Main contents are:(1)Overall design.It is mainly composed of power and transmission system,crawler chassis,seedling vine recovery device,digging mechanism,separation and delivery mechanism and potato collection,seedling box,etc.,using Solid Works software to complete the three-dimensional modeling and virtual assembly.(2)Mechanical properties test of sweet potato vine.The tensile and shear tests were carried out on the stem,leaf and root of sweet potato vine,respectively.The tensile load and elastic modulus of the stem and leaf of sweet potato were obtained.(3)Design of key components.The disc cutter,vertical drum reel mechanism,the shovel carries on the stress analysis,ensuring the working strength meets the requirements,in addition to the separating conveyor,the clamping kinematics analysis was carried out to ensure the best transmission effect of sweet potato tubers and seedling vine conveyor chain.Structural design and 3D modeling of each component on the basis of the analysis,the design of the cam in the vertical cylinder using MATLAB programming extraction contour curve data points on the way,guarantee the operation accuracy of the cam mechanism.(4)Dynamics and kinematics simulation of key components.According to the design parameters using Adams software to carry on the kinematics simulation of the disc cutter,the movement track of the cutter to ensure no leakage of the main cutting seedling vine,orthogonal design,parameters of disc cutter is optimized;the use of EDEM discrete element simulation analysis software for the simulation of potato and soil separation process,the optimal motion parameters sweet potato,reduce the damage rate of the reel drum;mechanism of vertical dynamics simulation was carried out using Adams software,the displacement,velocity and acceleration curves of reel teeth,verify the rationality of design institutions.(5)The static simulation of the main force components.ANSYS is used to simulate the digging shovel to ensure the rationality of the structure design and the safety and reliability during the operation.(6)Field test of seedling plant.Through the experiment,the net removal rate,the rate of damaged potato,the height of stubble and the productivity of sweet potato were studied.Through orthogonal test,the optimal parameter combination of machine forward speed,cutter speed and cutter angle is obtained.(7)Innovation.Design a compound machine which can be used for sweet potato tuber harvesting and vine recovery at the same time.The innovative design of the mechanism is carried out,which solves the problem of the winding of the vine.
