Sweet potato is an important material for food, forage, industrial materials and new energy, together with potato and cassava are called the world’s three biggest potatoes, which is the bottom line crop for world food production, more competitive crop with good energy and economy as well.China has the largest sweet potato planting area and highest production in the world, high-ridge planted, seedling vine flourished, prostrated, twisted and not easy to be separated, so seedling vine processing before digging harvest has becoming a time-consuming, labor consuming work with high labor intensity and production cost.Whether seedling vine is clean, has an impacts on the next digging harvest directly, nowadays as sweet potato production machinery technology is backward, most sweet potato planting harvest work is by manual, low efficiency, seriously constraints the development of sweet potato planting industry. The particularity and growth characteristics of seedling vine in operation aspects decide the urgency and complexity of research and development for sweet potato vine processing machinery.According to massive literature search and research, based on field ditch sweet potato seedling vine hard to cut off, low crushing rate of stalk, long stubble, high damage rate, vibration, easy wore knife shaft, easy wounded knife roller, poor safety and other technical have not been solved effectively.Based on the research on absorbing and comparison on domestic and international straw returning technology, combined with physical properties and planting technology of sweet potato, Pro/e, Adams, Ansys and Spss softwares are adopted, high ridge grinding structure parameters test and optimization design of seedling vine straw returning technology, field ditch long vines cleaning and smashing technology research, knife roll balance study, optimization test research on operation parameters, a sweet potato seedling vine straw returning machine is developed to be assorted with a 18.4-22. lkw wheeled tractor, performance and validation of the machine has been tested in typical area.Through this research,which aimed at obtaining a breakthrough in sweet potato crushing returning machine,and developing a mature machinery with good removal ability, quality, safety, durability.Main research content:(1)Sweet potato planting agronomy, physical characteristics and production method in China is investigated and studied, design concepts and basis of high removal performance for sweet potato vine cutting machine is put forward, overall design scheme is determined by analyzing domestic and foreign vine vine processing technology synthetically, through the theoretical calculation, combined with simulation analysis and experimental research, the design sweet potato vine cutting device is designed.(2) Based on reliability, high efficiency, high removal performance as the main control targets, structure of every part is designed including hanger combination, combination of gear box, shell assembly, knife roller combination and combination of copying depth-control wheel; aimed at solving disadvantages and technical difficulties of the existing vine cutting equipment,in order to optimize the design of key components, and the furrow shoe typed seedling knife structure, "dynamics inserted with statics " shaft end anti-winding technology, copying ridge pulverizing chamber is put forwarded as well.(3) Through 3D design software Pro/e, the whole machine 3D modeling is conducted,dynamics balance simulation of knife roller combination is analysed by using Adams software, knife roller shaft modal analysis is performed by using Ansys software, The analysis results indicate that the designed knife roller combination is reasonable for the requirements of dynamics balance and vibration modal.(4) Field performance test of the developed the vine cutting machine is carried out, technical performance status, seedling stem crushing quality, and working efficiency of machine is tested., verifying the developed sweet potato vine cutting machine with high removal performance whether meet the design requirements and testing standards or not, use economy,operational reliability and performance stability assessment is examined as well, testing effects of task efficiency and indexes with different working parameters, the test data are processed by Spss and Excel data processing softwares, the working parameters are determined by comprehensive...
