The Characteristics Of Harm That Fruit Flies Have And The Reach On The Technique Of Trapping

Fruit fly,is an important pest of cherry,strawberry,grape and other fruits,which caused severe damage.Plenty of cherry orchards suffered great losses because of the plague of Fruit flies in recent years.A research on the harmful characteristics and trapping effect of fruit flies were conducted in August 2015 to October 2016 with different trappers,baits and plastic color balls,and on the basis of monitoring population dynamics of fruit flies.The results showed that the number of D.suzukii occupied on third of that of mixed Drosophila population with the peak in mid-November in cherry orchard.The more and longer the wounds on grape are,the more helpful for the growth and development of the fruit flies under insectary condition.And the Hutaibahao grapes are better than the Jufeng graps for fruit flies.The trapping effect of the homemade water bottles was significantly better than that of McPhaile TRAP and Zhongjiesifang TRAP.The sugar-vinegar mixture(white spirit+ mature vinegar)was pretty efficient,while the Banana Flavor was almost useless.Refer to the seven colors in survey,the entrapment with orange plastic balls showed the best synergistic effect to trap D.suzukii and other fruit flies.
