Style Characteristics And Quality Zoning Of Flue-cured Tobacco In Xiangxi

In order to give full play to the ecological advantage and enhanced the raw material support ability of high quality tobacco leaf in Xiangxi, the ways of comparison method, variance analysis method, geo-statistics, principal component analysis and membership function were adopted to Interpretae the tobacco-growing soil, climate of tobacco-groeing areas,quality and style of flue-cured tobacco, and to explore the quality zoning of Xiangxi tobacco-growing areas, and to analysis the ecological characteristics and quality and style of flue-cured tobacco among different quality types. The results as follows:(1) The burnt- sweetness type of flue-cured tobacco from Xiangxi was from a little to little prominent, with the characteristics of hay incense, burnt-sweetness aroma and burnt aroma as the principal note; the motion state of aroma was heaviness overflow; the density of smoke was less strong; the impact was from medium to greatness. There were non-significant differences among the different counties for the scale of burnt -sweetness aroma and hay incense, pure-sweetness aroma, nutty aroma, burnt aroma, spice, motion state of aroma and impact,and that significant differences among the different counties for burnt-sweetness aroma, woody aroma, density of smoke.(2) The appearance quality indexes of flue-cured tobacco is with a mean of 79.90, mean amplitude of 70.80-85.27 in different counties.. The appearance quality indexes of Fenghuang county was highest,that of Luxi cuunty was relatively low.(3) The physical properties indexes of flue-cured tobacco is with a mean of 87.00, mean amplitude of 86.44-88.33 in different counties. The appearance quality indexes of Fenghuang county was highest,that of Luxi cuunty was relatively low.(4) The chemical components indexes of flue-cured tobacco is with a mean of 68.80, mean amplitude of 55.58-86.30 in different counties. The chemical components indexes of Luxi cuunty was highest,that of was Huayuan county relatively low.(5) The smoking quality indexes of flue-cured tobacco is with a mean of 72.50, mean amplitude of 66.13-80.37 in different counties. The smoking quality indexes of Guzhang cuunty was highest,that of was Fenghua county relatively low.(6) The tobacco leaf quality indexes is with a mean of 73.08, mean amplitude of 67.13-78.22 in different counties. The smoking quality indexes of Luxi cuunty was highest,that of was Huayuan county relatively low.(7) The soil feasibility indexes is with a mean of 53.14, mean amplitude of 47.20-62.46 in different counties. The smoking quality indexes of Huayuan cuunty was highest,that of was Yongshun county relatively low.(8) The climate feasibility indexes is with a mean of 90.45, mean amplitude of 77.60-93.79 in different counties. The smoking quality indexes of Huayuan cuunty was highest,that of was Lixi county relatively low.(9) The quality zoning of Xiangxi tobacco-growing areas may be divided into main material area for high sugar and burnt-sweetness type from heavy to middle in northwestern middle-altitude mountain, main material area for high sugar and burnt-sweetness type from middle to heavy in eastern low-altitude hilly and lowland, main material area for high sugar and burnt-sweetness type from middle to heavy in western low-altitude plateau mountain, main material area for middle sugar and burnt- sweetness type from heavy to middle in southern low mountain and hilly.
