Analysis On The Characters Of New Rice Varieties Approved For Release By CCACHP In Hunan Province From 2010 To 2015

This study was based on Hunan 2010-2015 approved rice varieties, including the number and type of the audited varieties,breeding units, yield performance, grain quality analysis, quality rice, blast resistance and other characters and Rice promotion of Hunan province. The main findings are as follows:1. Hunan Hybrid Rice Combination, approved nearly six years, of two-line, three-line hybrid rice combinations and conventional rice varieties is altogether 197 (removal of sterile lines), approving 32.83 pieces every year on average. But there was a reduction during 2012-2014. At validation, the standard for breed resistant was improved.2015 witnessed a increase of audited varieties at 45 which was the highest during six years.2.2010-2015,the average yield of early rice were 524.51,495.58,486.18,501.06, 533.12,528.73kg, showing the first decline and then rebound in the state, showing the state of bounds back after jump. Combined with the average yield of the control varieties, the overall level of validation yield varieties is improved. From Middle Rice yield results, the average yield of each medium rice varieties(combination) during 2010-2015 were:569.70, 578.10,612.75,643.52,604.34,587.63kg, showing a parabolic form first rise and then fall. Combined with the control variety of the yield, the overall yield level was increased. From Middle Rice yield results, the average yield of each late rice varieties (combination) during 2010-2015 were:509.10,527.88,522.10,524.69,541.70,551.35kg, visible in the reference production rose, at the same time, inter-annual rice production has skyrocketed.3. Comment on Hunan Province more than third-class high-quality rice (combined) total in 8, accounting for 4.06%. From the point of approved year,2011 ranked the top at 5; 2010 at 3. Seeing fron the type, hybrid rice with 62.5%(5); late rice with 62.5%; early season rice with 37.5%. When it comes to the quality level, the third-class high-quality rice took the largest part, accounting for 62.5%(5); the first quality rice followed with 25%(2); the second quality rice with 12.5%(1). High quality rice varieties are concentrated in the commentary during the 2010-2011. Hunan Hybrid Rice Breeding quality has begun to rise, but still less of the validation of twelve third-class high-quality varieties.4. In 2012, the brown rice rate of early rice, intermediate and late rice all reached three standard quality rice (unpolished rice where rates were generally the highest). The brown rice rate of early rice and medium rice is basically the same. But only certain variety in 2015 reached the first class. There was no brown rice rate reached a standard varieties other years? Rice rate of the intermediate is lower than intermediate and late rice. On the head rice rate, late rice performed the best; early rice and medium rice was low. There was none reached level-1 rice among the three rice types. Only brown rice rate and white rice rate reached national third levels, nearly six years, cereal generally maintained low level of quality.5. According to the statistics of 2010--2015 Hunan Audited varieties' leaf blast, panicle blast, blast-resistant composite performance from 10-1,10-2,10-3:the growth period among three types, late rice has low resistance to neck blast (54 medium resistance,42 low resistance). From the leaf blast of three types, there were no low-resistant varieties,most were of middle at 4-6 class resistance, medium rice varieties with high resistance to leaf blast count most. Comprehensive resistance index is basically the same, most of the species belong in the 4-6 antibody. Also the resistance of three types of rice varieties show worst to panicle blast, all in the 4-6 and 7-9, belonging to the low-medium resistance. Moreover, medium rice's low resistant type is medium.6. Although there are hundreds of rice varieties audited each year in Hunan,but according to the situation of the seed market,the promotion of large area of the main varieties are less. On hybrid rice, In the production performance of the more outstanding hybrid rice mainly are:Y Liangyou 1 Y two excellent series, Y Liangyou 7, Y Liangyou 9, Y Liangyou 3218, Y Liangyou 9918, Y Liangyou 8818, Y Liangyou 1998, etc.. Y Liangyou 900 marketing from 2015 increased production largely and is expected to be the main variety.
