Objective:Studies have shown that MUC4 genes and ETEC F4ac resistance/susceptibil-ity to significant correlation. In order to explore the resistance gene (MUC4) genetic characteristics and disease resistance in ETEC, this experiment test gene (MUC4) in swine disease resistance, and then, use the method that was combine the marker assisted breeding technology with conventional technology to breed, which provides the basis for genetic traits and explore MUC4 genetic characteristics and its extension in swine disease resistance, production performance in the future.Methods:1.Genetic screening:collecting breeding herd ear marginal tissue, extract the DNA, and pass by PCR method to determine such as samples genotype.2. Comprehensive selection:based on the identified MUC4 genotype breeding plan accordingly, marker assisted selection and conventional breeding techniques combined with breeding boar sow mating with the favorable genes as experimental group, the bad genes boars sow mating as control group.3. Genetic testing:acquisition piglets with conventional breeding by marker assisted selection of test group was born 1 ear marginal tissue, piglets of gene frequency of MUC4 gene detection test group, the allele frequency of statistics.4. Resistance performance test:to weighing of each birth, weaning piglets, the daily observation and record each piglet diarrhea condition, collect groups of diarrhea piglets dung, detection of diarrhea piglets diarrhea rate of F4 types and virulence factors. The experimental data from adopt SPSS 19.0 statistical processing software, P<0.05 showed significant difference, statistically significant.Results:1. Diarrhea and production performance:experimental group and control group have different degrees of diarrhea, including changbai experimental diarrhea, diarrhea frequency index, reduced by 26.3%,25.1% than the blank control group, the great frequency of experimental diarrhea, diarrhea index than the blank control group decreased by 24.7%, 23.8%, the experimental group compared with the control group there were significant differences (P<0.05); At the same time to test the diarrhea piglets dung, e. coli were detected, the experimental group the virulence factors of F4 detection rate is lower than the control group. Beard the birth weight of experimental group and the great test group and the blank control group of primary ChongWu obvious difference (P>0.05), in terms of weaning weight, changbai experimental group and the great white patients than the blank control group, weight 0.21 kg,0.3 kg, there were significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The experiment of great and changbai swine detection MUC4 genes, through marker-assisted is combined with conventional breeding breeding swine beneficial genes get improved obviously, reflects the two groups have relatively abundant genetic polymorphism, genetic potential is big, can improve the strength of the artificial selection in the process of breeding.2. MUC4 favorable genes the production performance of breeding herd (litter size, birth weight), without significant influence, but in the frequency of diarrhea, diarrhea index, has significant impact on weaning weight. Tips for molecular breeding of pigs group MUC4 gene resistance increases to a certain extent, reduce the occurrence of swine diarrhea, not the production performance of breeding herd (litter size, birth weight) have a significant impact, but may to some extent, affect the population growth rate, raise pigs weaned weight.
