With the gradual improvement of people's living standards, edible vegetable oil is liked by more and more people increasingly. while China is still a net importer country of edible vegetable oil, the development of new oil resources is very important. Different kinds of oil have different kinds of fatty acids groups and contents. Composition and content of fatty acids have also become important indexes to oil seed quality. For hemp crop's, its fiber is mainly used, while its seed has not been fully exploited. The experiment proposed a comparative study between seed oil rate and fatty acid composition in marijuana, kenaf, flax and other 43 varieties of hemp crops based on the Soxhlet extraction, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technology, aiming at filtering high-quality hemp and developing oil resources. The results showed as followings:1. Kenaf seed oil rate for the test was 23.49%, main fatty acids in kenaf seed oil are linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, ?-linolenic acid and stearic acid. The oleic acid content is 28.7% including a small amount of a-linolenic acid (about 3.5%). In H6 and H13 varieties, the unsaturated fatty acid content is high, while the saturated fatty acid content is low, the ?-linolenic acid content is notable, which has utilization value.2.Hemp seed oil rate for the test was 32.76%, main fatty acids in hemp seed oil were: linoleic acid, oleic acid, a-linolenic acid, palmitic acid, and stearic acid. The linoleic acid content is 56.8%, which is the highes, and a-linolenic acid content is about 20.0%. In D8 variety in the test varieties, Linoleic acid anda-linolenic acid contents were the highest, while the palmitic acid, stearic acid and other saturated fatty acid contents were low. D5 variety was rich in ?-linolenic acid. These two varieties possessed utilization value.3.Flax seed oil rate for the test was 35.00%, main fatty acids in flax seed oil were:?-linolenic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid, and the total content of these five kinds accounted for more than 98%, ?-linolenic acid content was about 50 percent. InY1, Y9, Y10 in the test varieties, linolenic acid content was high, which had utilization value compared to other varieties.4. It showed that there were significant positive correlations between red hemp seed oil content and palm acid, between hemp seed oil rate and ?-linolenic acid, the correlation between hemp seed oil rate and myristate achieved high positive. There was also positive correlation between flax seed oil content and all kinds of fatty acid contents, but it didn't achieve significant difference.
