The experiment studied sorghum diets with complex enzyme and probiotic on Liangfenghua growth performance, slaughter performance, intestinal function, meat quality and serum antioxidant and nutrient utilization. The test selected 900 1-day-old Liangfenghua broilers(cock),which had no difference of body weight, they were randomly divided into five treatments with six replicates and 30 birds per replicate, the control group were fed with corn-soybean meal diet, the trial groups use sorghum instead of 30% corn during the early stage and istead of 50% corn during the late stage, the trial groups were the sorghum group, the sorghum with complex enzyme group, the sorghum with Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation group, the sorghum with complex enzyme and Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation group. Trial period was 56 days, which were divided into early (1?28d), late (29?56d) two stages.. The experimental results showed that:(1) At starter phase(1-28d),the average daily feed intake(ADFI) and feed to gain ratio(F/G) of treatment groups were significantly decreased than control group(P<0.05). in the later stage(29-56d) and the whole stage(1-56d),the average daily feed intake(ADFI) and average daily gain(ADG) of the sorghum with complex enzyme group had no significant difference with control group, but it was significantly higher than other treatment groups(P<0.001).There is no significant difference on feed to gain ratio(F/G) between the treatment groups and control group(P>0.05).The sorghum with Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation group and the sorghum with complex enzyme and Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation group were significantly improved broiler percentage of half-eviscerated yield (P<0.05).The result showed that no significant difference was found in slaughter performance and index of immune organs.L* value of breast muscle of the sorghum with complex enzyme and Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation group was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.05).Compared to the control group,a* value of leg muscle of the treatment groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05).(2) The apparent digestion rate of crude fiber of the sorghum with complex enzyme group and the sorghum with complex enzyme and Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation group were significantly improved than control group(P<0.05).There is no statistically significant on the AME and the rest of nutrient apparent digestion rate(P>0.05).(3) At 28 days of age,the villus height and the V/C of the duodenum of the treatment groups except the sorghum group significant higher than control group(P<0.05). At 56 days of age,the broilers formulations of the duodenum, jejunum, ileum villus morphological structure had no significant differences(P>0.05).At 28 days of age, compared to the control group, the activity of T-SOD in serum of the sorghum group was significant decreased(P<0.05).At 56 days of age, there was no significant differences in antioxidant function of CAT,T-SOD,MDA,T-AOC and GSH-Px.(P>0.05).All the results indicated that adding complex enzyme and Bacillus subtlis viable-preparation in sorghum diets can improve growth performance and nutrient digestibility of broilers.
