With the rapid development of Chinese aquaculture industry,many company which produce fishing equipment begin to manufacture feeding machines with different mechanical structure to reduce the labor intensity of artificial breeding.As the aquaculture area of pond increasing gradually,different kinds of feeding machines applied to large area of pond farming have been developed.This paper analyze the pneumatic feeding machine which use the pneumatic conveying principle to convey fish feed long distance.And this equipment can scatter fish feed to every direction.This paper firstly use the computer to simulate the working process of feeding machine,secondly analyze the result and find the problems,then solve the problem according to the related theory,main work of this paper includes below aspects:(1)Testing the scatter ability of the feeding machine,got the data of scatter on the standard conditions.Analyzing the data,we can find that the uniformity is better when the distance is 10m-15m except some direction.And we can improve this situation though changing the speed of motor and size of outlet of the feed tank.(2)During the experiment,we find some feed accumulate around the corner of the wall,this influence the flow of feed.For solving this problem,we simulate feed flow situation under different angle by EDEM.Analyzing the data,we not only find a better nosing angle of the hopper but also improve the structure size of feed tank.(3)Simulating the moving of particles in the scatters plate,and analyzing the ability of scattering under different dip angle of the vane.From the result,we can know that forward blade is better than others.The velocity of particles in forward blade leave the scatterer plate is faster than others.The forward blade is more suitable for feeding machine.
