Beef cattle barn warm environment and air hygiene environment has an important effect on beef cattle health,weight gain,feed intake and utilization efficiency.Different feeding processes have impact on warm environment,the air environmental and the behavior of beef cattle,and appropriate feeding process for beef production has a very important significance.In this paper,environmental parameters for three cattle barns in south region,environmental parameters for different ways of manure removal and behavior of beef cattle for different feeding processes were studied in order to provide the basis that choosing the right feeding processes for the region.Part 1:Beef cattle barn warm environment and air hygiene environment has an important effect on beef cattle's health,weight gain,feed intake and utilization efficiency.This paper test the temperature field,moisture content and several harmful gases of three barn of Jiangxi province for analysising and studying on air health conditions.The result show that:Temperature range within three barns are within optimum growth range of beef cattle,which can meet growth needs,but poor air quality problems exist semi-open house and open house.Moisture content is very high,which can reach 20000 mg/m3.Semi-closed and open barn's temperature and moisture content have a lower temperature with the external environment influence.The ventilation volume of semi-closed and open barn was significantly greater than the full-closed barn,and harmful gas concentration of semi-closed and open barn was less than full-closed barn,where CH4,CO2 concentration is significant difference.Gas concentration of CH4,CO2 and NH3 regular changes in a day and which is maximum in the day afternoon.But the gas concentration does not change significantly during the day in the semi-closed and open barn.Thethree height of the gas of 0.5 m,1 m and 1.5 m was detected in the study,and there is no significant difference in three height of the gas.Part 2:In this study,we respectively test the temperature,moisture content and several kinds of harmful gas in barns with and without manure scraper systems and Analysis of air sanitation aim to evaluate the pros and cons of mechanical cleaning feces way.The results showed that the cattle barn with manure scraper systems has less moisture content and the daily average concentration of NH3,CH4,and the concentration of PM 10 had no significant difference in two barns.Using manure scraper systems instantaneously generate a large amount of NH3,the NH3 concentration could increased by 70%to 75%.After the concentration discounted down to 80%-85%level,and manure artificial removal had smaller impact.The beef cattle behavior had an impact on the concentration of NH3,CH4 and CO2,and the behavior of urination,rumination and activity affected the content of the gas.There is some correlation between moisture content and the content of NH3,CH4,CO2.Conclusion:Using manure scraper systems had important significance on the improvement of the living environment of the beef cattle.Part 3:The test study behavior of jin jiang beef under tethered feeding pattern and feedlot pattern for assessing the impact of the two feeding processes on behavior of jin jiang beef.The result indicated:1)the total duration of standing and numbers of lying down intention were significantly higher under tethered feeding pattern than under feedlot pattern,there was not significantly different for the total duration of lying and number of lying down.2)the total duration of rumination and numbers of ruminant period was significantly lower under tethered feeding pattern than under feedlot pattern.There was no significant difference between the two feeding processes to the duration of rumination during standing,but the duration of rumination during lying was lower under tethered feeding pattern.Bulls under tethered feeding pattern showed less social behavior and more inappropriate behavior.The results show that beef cattle has less rumination time and social behavior,more number of lying down intention and inappropriate behavior,that affect beef production to some extent.
