Paddlefish is one of the two polyodontidae fish left in the world.The paddlefish lived in Mississippi River Basin of United States of American initially.Living in fresh water;feeding plankton in the water by filtering.Common inland waters,such as rivers,lakes,reservoirs and so on.Paddlefish has very high potential for exploitation.At present,people have developed leather,meat and eggs.Eggs can be processed into caviar,while leather is the best raw material for tanning.The flesh is tender and tender,and the meat is boneless inside,and the nutrient rich in the snout is a good ingredient.Paddlefish at an early stage of growth,its snout and duck similar specific size leads to the unique operation in water movement;it is also a good ornamental fish species.In Shaanxi Ankang 400 m2 small ponds of Paddlefish breeding experiment,the yield of more than 400 kg/667m2,the net income of 3414 yuan /667m2,micro water and continuous aeration pond aerator to ensure that dissolved oxygen is more than 5 mg/L,is an important measure to ensure the lowest feed coefficient and high yield.Through the research in recent years found in high-yield breeding in the Shaanxi Ankang paddlefish pond at the yield and benefit,there is still much room for growth.To show that cage paddlefish monoculture and polyculture experiment in Zheng Jia River of Huangling,Shaanxi;the best stocking paddlefish monoculture is 41.3g/m2;the best stocking paddlefish polyculture is 24.7g/m2 cage.According to the actual situation,comprehensive evaluation of stock stocking paddlefish reservoir in Northern Shaanxi and optimal stocking quantity,and the guiding suggestions for the North Shaanxi area reservoir and general mesotrophic reservoir stocking paddlefish.
