Adaptation Of Different Apple Scion-stock Combination In Luochuan,Shaanxi

Shaanxi is a main province of apple production in China.Dwarfing and closing planting mode is an important measure to promote the apple industry development in northwest Loess Plateau.A number of apple orchards in luochuan area has been in the aging period,and the apple trees need to renew,therefore,choosing appropriate stock of apple trees is a reliable assurance for improving the resistance,enhancing the growth and ensuring the abundan of apple trees in the local area.There is a large of difference in the adaptability for different apple scion-stock combination in different regions.so,one problem that needs to be solved is selecting the apple scion-stock combination with good adaptability in luochuan producing area.This research was carried out at the apple test station in luochuan from march to december in 2016,After the observation and measurement about these 25 kinds of apple scion-stock combinations between the growth period,we found the effects of different scion-stock combinations on the growth and development of the apple trees,branch of class,leaf photosynthetic characteristic,graft compatibility,tree yield and fruit quality,evaluated the adaptive performance of different scion-stock combinations in luochuan region comprehensively.Main results for this study are as follows:In vigorous stock combination,The trees of vigorous rootstock combinations which were made up by Fupingqiuzi?Xinjiangyepingguo?Balenghaitang an Wuqiqiuzi,respectively,were more stronger,and these trees' photosynthesis characteristic and nutrition were better,branches of classes were reasonable,the graft compatibility and fruit quality were better,these vigorous rootstocks were called the greatly adaptive stock.But Honghaitang and Baihaitang were less nutritious than the former,and the fruit quality was poor.In dwarf stock combination,When the G30,G41,Pajam1,M26 as the interstock of trees in luochuan region,these trees' performance were notable for the dwarfing effect,in addition to this,better tree growing,graft compatibility and photosynthesis characteristic,higher proportion of short branches were showed,and fruit quality also has a certain guarantee,so the G30?G41?Pajam1?M26 were called the greatly adaptive dwarf stock,but the B9,SH1,SH6,and Re1 are weak in tree growth,photosynthesis characteristic and graft compatibility were poor,a small foot phenomenon occurs in these stocks,and the fruit quality satisfaction was low,so the B9,SH1,SH6,and Re1 were not adaptable.
