First,the bioactive components were extracted from the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii and Aleurites montana by using 95%ethanol heat reflux extraction,and ethanol extract was obtained.Then the ethanol extract was extracted with petroleum ether,trichloromethane and ethyl acetate to obtain petroleum ether,trichloromethane,ethyl acetate extraction.The antibacterial activity of ethanol extract of the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii and Aleurites montana on E.coli and S.aureus was studied by digging hole method.The results showed that the antibacterial activity of ethanol extract on S.aureus was better than E.coli,and the effect of ethanol extract of the tung-seed meal of Aleurites montana on E.coli and S.aureus was better than the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii.So the ethanol extract of the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii could be a new source of antimicrobials.There are a strong antibacterial activity on S.aureus for the extract of the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii and Aleurites montana,but without significant difference between the two tung-seed meal.The insecticidal activity of tung-seed meal extract was tested by using the beet armyworm,the results showed that the insecticidal effect of trichloromethane extract was the best,the highest insecticidal rate was 79.3%after 72 hours,the insecticidal effect of ethyl acetate extract was the second,and the petroleum ether extract had the worst insecticidal effect.The insecticidal effect of the ethanol extract and its extraction of Aleurites montana was better than Vernicia fordii,which indicated that the tung-seed meal of Aleurites montana was more suitable for the development of the botanical insecticide.The monomer compounds were isolated and purified by silica gel column chromatography,glucose gel column chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography.The isolated compounds were identified by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,EI-MS and other modern spectroscopic techniques,as well as through the comparison of the literature data.In this experiment,three kinds of monomers were isolated from the trichloromethane extract of the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii,namely betulinic acid,chlorogenic acid and ?-sitosterol.Three compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii,namely 12-deoxy-13-palmitic acid phorbol ester,cinnamic acid,daucosterol,Three kinds of monomers were isolated from the trichloromethane extract of the millennium tung-seed meal,which were white betelic acid,lupeol acetate and 3-acetyl pseuddodipine sterol.Six compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of the tong-seed meal of Aleurites montana,namely P-sitosterol,eugenol,quercetin,luteolin,daucosterol,glyceryl monopalmitate.Among them,betulinic acid,?-sitosterol,and daucosterol are collectively identified in the tung-seed meal of Vernicia fordii and Aleurites montana.
