The high yield of soybean can not be separated from the reasonable regulation of the growth period structure,because the growth period is closely related to the light source of soybean,which is the typical quantitative trait and important ecological traits of soybean.Soybean growth period trait is quantitative linkage genetic and regulated by multiple genes at the same time and the phenotype influenced by the temperature or sunshine length and other environmental factors.Therefore,this study can be used to analyze the QTLs that are coexpressed in multiple environments and QTLs that are specifically expressed in a certain environment or stage under complex conditions for many years.Secondly,the two stages of vegetative growth and reproductive growth in the growth period are divided into short stages for the analysis need to locate the QTL which is important for controlling one or more stages of soybean growth.Moreover,the four-way population has more and more polymorphic molecular markers in the number of markers compared with the inbred line population obtained from the hybridization of the two parents.More importantly,in the genetic analysis of gene effect,one gene locus on the linkage map at the same site has four alleles at the same time,and the superiority of the four-way population is very obvious in the detection efficiency of genetic linkage analysis.The application of four-way recombinant inbred lines is extremely rare in plant especially in the case of self-pollinated soybeans,therefore,the proposing and application of four-way recombinant inbred lines design enrich the genetic linkage analysis and theoretical study of soybean molecular breeding.In this paper,the construction of genetic linkage map was carried out by SSR molecular marker technique and QTL locus interval mapping method on the four-way recombinant inbred lines which had been constructed in the previous study.The original data of the QTL loci for the trait loci analysis were derived from field records and laboratory analyzes of 6 environment in 3 years.The large number of data in multiple years and places combined with the advantages of four-way recombination inbred lines population in the genetic linkage analysis can locate the major QTLs controling the process of soybean growth period and improve the detection efficiency and the effect of the authenticity and credibility on the major QTL and then found an excellent and effective allele in the improving growth period.The results are as follows:(1)A total of 139 QTL loci were identified in each stage of the growth period,79 of which were repeatedly identified in many years.(2)There were 28 un-repeatedly detected loci consistent with previous studies:qGP-C1-1?qGPC1-3?qGP-C2-2?qGP-C2-7?qGP-D1b-2?qGP-D1b-7?qGP-D2-3?qGP-D2-8?qGP-F-1?qGPG-2?qGP-H-2?qGP-H-3?qGP-H-4?qGP-I-2?qGP-I-3?qGP-I-4?qGP-J-4?qGP-J-5?qGPK-6?qGP-K-7?qGP-L-6?qGP-M-3?qGP-N-3?qGP-N-4?qGP-O-4?qGP-O-5?qGP-O-6?qGPO-7?(3)There were 49 repeatedly detected loci consistent with previous studies:qGP-A1-6?qGPA1-9?qGP-A2-2?qGP-A2-4?qGP-B1-3?qGP-B1-4?qGP-B2-3?qGP-B2-6?qGP-C1-4?qGPC2-3?qGP-C2-4?qGP-C2-5?qGP-C2-6?qGP-C2-9?qGP-D1b-8?qGP-D1b-9?qGP-D1b-10?qGP-D2-5?qGP-D2-6?qGP-D2-11?qGP-E-2?qGP-F-2?qGP-F-3?qGP-F-7?qGP-G-3?qGPG-5?qGP-H-6?qGP-I-5?qGP-I-6?qGP-I-7?qGP-J-3?qGP-J-6?qGP-J-7?qGP-K-3?qGP-K-5?qGP-L-5?qGP-L-7?qGP-L-8?qGP-L-9?qGP-M-1?qGP-M-2?qGP-M-4?qGP-M-5?qGPM-6?qGP-N-5?qGP-N-7?qGP-N-9?qGP-O-11?qGP-O-12?(4)There were 35 QTLs newly found in this paper:qGP-A1-1?qGP-A1-7?qGP-A1-8?qGPA1-10?qGP-A2-3?qGP-A2-5?qGP-B1-5?qGP-B1-6?qGP-B2-2?qGP-B2-4?qGP-B2-5?qGPC2-1?qGP-D1a-1?qGP-D1b-1?qGP-D1b-3?qGP-D1b-4?qGP-D1b-5?qGP-D2-1?qGP-F-4?qGP-F-5?qGP-G-4?qGP-H-1?qGP-H-5?qGP-J-1?qGP-J-2?qGP-K-1?qGP-K-2?qGP-L-1?qGP-L-2?qGP-L-4?qGP-N-6?qGP-N-8?qGP-O-2?qGP-O-9?qGP-O-10?(5)There were 22 new major QTLs found in this paper:qGP-A1-1?qGP-A1-8?qGP-A1-10?qGP-A2-3?qGP-A2-5?qGP-B1-5?qGP-B2-2?qGP-B2-4?qGP-C2-1?qGP-D1b-1?qGP-F-5?qGP-H-1?qGP-H-5?qGP-J-2?qGP-K-2?qGP-L-2?qGP-L-4?qGP-N-6?qGP-N-8?qGP-O-2?qGP-O-9?qGP-O-10?...
