In this experiment, the "Pingyang Tezao",which is healthy and consistent tea seedling was selected as the material. And three species of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi were selected, named Glomus intraradices,Glomus versiforme and Glomus mosseae.Study the effects of different AMFs on biomass, osmotic regulation, antioxidant enzyme system, photosynthetic system, chlorophyll and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of tea plant under water stress with inoculation of AMF.The aim is to explore effects of AMF on physiological and biochemical mechanisms of tea druoght tolerance. The results are as follows:1.Inoculation of AMF could promote the growth of tea trees under water stress, and all three AMFs significantly increased the biomass of tea plant, especially the biomass of tea plant.Three AMFs promoted the accumulation of proline and soluble protein in tea plant under water stress, regulated the cell osmotic potential, decreased the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)and reduced the electrolyte permeability.2.Inoculation of AMF could significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes, such as superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD),catalase(CAT)and ascorbate peroxidase(APX)of tea plant under water stress.Meanwhile, the content of ascorbic acid(AsA)and reduced glutathione(GSH)increased significantly and decreased the content of O2·-and H2O2,which released oxidation extent of tea leaves.3.Inoculation of AMF could significantly increased the content of photosynthetic pigments(chlorophyll and carotenoid),enhanced net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Gs)and transpiration rate(Tr),also decreased intercellular CO2 concentration(Ci)of tea plant under water stress.4.Inoculation of AMF could significantly increased max photochemical efficiency(Fv/Fm)and PS ? actual photochemical efficiency(?PS?),also increased elevate photochemical quench(qP)and the non-photochemical quenching coefficient(qN)of tea plant under water stress.5.Inoculation of AMF can alleviate the damage caused by water stress to tea plant and improve the drought resistance of tea plant.Among them, the effect of Glomus versiforme treatment is the optimal, followed by Glomus mosseae and Glomus intridadices were inoculated.
