This research selected the natural Castanopsis eyrezi forest of Lu Tou Forest Farm as the sample area in this study.The field investigation and the indoor analysis was combined to calculate the natural forest biomass and the carbon reserves.The research provides basic data for the research of evergreen broad-leaved forest,and provides the reference data for the further study of the carbon cycle and carbon balance of the forest ecosystem,so as to better utilize the subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest and carbon trading.The main results are listed as below:(1)The total biomass of natural Castanopsis eyrei forest is 384.32 t·hm-2;arbor layer(373.86 t·hm-2)>litter layer(7.66 t·hm-2)>shrub layer(1.93 t·hm-2)>herb layer(0.87 t·hm-2).The biomass of the arbor layer is 373.86 t·hm-2,which occupies 97.28%of the total biomass of Castanopsis eyrei forest,and the biomass of forest is mainly concentrated in the arbor layer.The trunk occupies an absolute advantage that biomass accounted for 60.37%of the total biomass.The biomass of the shrub layer is 1.93 t·hm-2,in the aerial part(1.39 t·hm-2)>in the underground part(0.54 t·hm-2).The biomass of the herbaceous layer is only 0.87 t·hm-2,in the underground part(0.54 t·hm-2)>in the aerial part(0.33 t·hm-2).The biomass of litter layer of Castanopsis eyrei forest is 7.66 t·hm-2,and the biomass size shows decomposed layer(2.86 t·hm-2)>semi-decomposition layer(2.74 t·hm"2)>decomposition layer(2.06 t·hm-2)in different decomposition phases.(2)The proportion corresponding to the biomass per plant of individual Castanopsis eyrei forest was as follows:trunk(48.42%-62.00%)>branch(10.74%?15.04%)>coarseroot(8.19%?10.81%)>bark(5.47%?7.65%)>big root(4.67%?6.16%)>leaf(3.19%?4.75%)>middle root(2.46%?4.03%)>small root(1.93%?2.92%)>fine root(1.04%?1.79%).Meanwhile,the difference among the biomass of the standard wood of each diameter is obvious.(3)When the diameter of Castanopsis eyrei was small(8 cm,16 cm,24 cm),the biomass amount order of the different organs was branch(45.32%?46.68%)>bark(44.15%?45.99%)>trunk(43.44%?44.80%)>leaf(42.67%?44.33%)>root(41.54%?43.95%).The order of the different organs(32 cm,48 cm)according to the carbon content was bark(46.22%?48.52%)>trunk(45.10%?47.90%)>leaf(44.63%?47.57%)>branch(44.42%?46.20%)>root(44.02%?46.68%).The carbon content of different organs of Castanopsis eyrei forest was varied from 43.43%to 45.90,and the order of carbon content was bark>branch>trunk>leaf>root.The average carbon content of shrub plants was very different,which was 40.37%?45.84%.The carbon content of aboveground and underground parts of herbaceous plants was between 29.89%and 37.58%.The carbon content in the soil layer decreased in the vertical direction with the increase of soil depth,which trended to be 4.88%,2.79%,1.54%,0.90%and 0.51%from the top to the bottom.(4)The total carbon storage of Castanopsis eyrei natural forest was 329.72t·hm-2,and the carbon storage of tree layer was 168.40 t·hm'2 from top to bottom spatial distribution,among which the tree trunk occupies absolute superiority,with the carbon reserves of 60.59%.The carbon storage of the shrub layer was 0.84 t·hm-2,and the carbon storage of the herbaceous layer was 0.3 t·hm-2,while the understory vegetation accounted for only 0.35%in the total carbon storage.The order of each carbon storage in different decomposition stages was:semi-decomposing layer>unconsolidated layer>decomposed layer.Its carbon storage was 2.56 t hm-2.The soil carbon content in the forest soil layer was 157.61 t·hm-2,Soil layer 0-15,15-30,30-45,45-60,>60 cm carbon storage were 43.66 t·hm-2?25.49t·hm-2?14.52t·hm-2?10.02t·hm-2?6.31 t·hm-2.Tree layer(51.07%)>soil layer(47.80%)>litter layer(0.78%)>shrub layer(0.25%)>herbaceous layer(0.10%).The total carbon content of the tree layer and the soil layer was 326.01 t·hm-2,accounting for 98.87%of the total carbon storage.As a result,the carbon content of Castanopsis eyrei natural forest was mainly concentrated in the tree layer and soil layer.
