Forest carbon storage has exerted a great significance on global carbon cycle research. The study on biomass and carbon storage of shrub forest, which is an important constitution of forest ecosystems, lays a basic foundation for accurate assessment of forest ecosystems. This study takes Siberian Apricot and Caragana Korshinskii in Inner Mongolia as research object.Firstly.in order to obtain accurate measurement biomass and carbon storage of different tree species, fresh weight, water content, biomass and carbon content of different organs will be measured accurately.Using the actual measured shrub morphological index and the above-ground biomass,we performed a regression analysis to build a model of above-ground biomass of different tree species. And then, combined with the carbon content.built a model of above-ground carbon storage of different tree species. At last, compared the different assessment methods of carbon storage.the results are shown below.1.In the study area, the biomass of Natural Siberian Apricot,Artificial Siberian Apricot and Caragana Korshinskii is:536.95,396.17,1164.69g/m2,the biomass of different organs generally varied in following order:branches>roots>leaves. The above-ground biomass of Natural Siberian Apricot accounts for around 60%,and the roots' accounts for less than 40%;The above-ground biomass of Artificial Siberian Apricot and Caragana Korshinskii accounts for around 70%,and the roots' accounts for about 30%.In the mass.the accounts of above-ground ones are mach larger than the underground ones.2.Using the common regression equation, simulated the above-ground biomass in a single plant of Siberian Apricot and Caragana Korshinskii. The result shows that the regression equations of each biomass were significantly, overall, the linear equation fitting effect is best, precision inspection over 80%,can be applied to actual biomass research.3.Combined with Siberian Apricot biomass model and carbon content, establish regression model of above-ground carbon storage.Carbon storage model of natural Siberian Apricot which above-ground is y=1.2375DH+32.13;The single plant carbon storage model of Artificial Siberian Apricot which above-ground is y=0.1575D2H+32.13;The single plant carbon storage model of Caragana Korshinskii which above-ground is y=11.93H-963.69.4.Through the comparison between the prediction of carbon storage from the model with the measured ones, the result shows that the estimate is in accordance with the measurement,The measured carbon storage of natural Siberian Apricot per plant was 696.94 g?967.16 g?1179.57 g?382.89 g?336.39 g,the estimated value was 727.37g?871.90g?1130.17 g?395.71 g?263.13 g;The measured carbon storage of Siberian Apricot per plant was 518.98g?306.38 g?1145.98 g?444.74 g,the estimated value was 454.82g?232.21?1244.74g?479.94 g per plant;the measured carbon storage of Caragana was 1351.16?1207.97 g?1721.06 g?1028.99 g,the estimated value was 1134.37 g?1238.47 g?2231.58 g?829.90 g.
