The Research On Space Creation Of Open Forest And Grassland In Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Spot

The open forest and grassland in the garden is characterized by soothing terrain, large lawns and unique plant landscapes that tend to attract the attention of people’s eyes。It is an important part of the garden green space system. Which is not only playing a role In the landscape function, but also carrying a large number of visitors activities and providing a space place for a variety of leisure activities.And the open forest and grassland in the West Lake Scenic Area is highly acclaimed, and it has been widely used as a model, so this article put it as the study object.In the past, the research and evaluation of the open forest and grassland in the West Lake Scenic Area were mainly focused on plant allocation pattern and plant spatial scale, while the terrain element and other landscape elements were less studied.In this paper, the research on the lawn space which is mainly from the two aspects of terrain and plant, will comprehensively analyze the theoretical and technical methods of sparse forest lawn space.The research contents and achievements are as follows:First, the The open forest and grassland in the West Lake Scenic Area mainly distributed around the lake and in the surrounding foothills, the distribution.of which was similar to the "U"shape along the Nanshan Road and Yanggongdi.This area has a suitable microclimate environment,and it is easy to reach.Second, according to the terrain and plant space confinement, the Sparse forest lawn space in the West Lake Scenic Area is divided into three types: inward, outward and mixed , in which the proportion of introversion lawn space accounted for about 50%.Thirdly, studies the classification of 11 species of lawns in three types of space, which is mainly from terrain and plant, and study their influence on spatial form, spatial circumference and spatial feeling.The inward type space often introduce rich terrain and other factors to break the sense of close and monotonous. The terrain in the outward lawn space is generally flat, and the plants play an important role in the construction of the space. For mixed space,besides the two elements of terrain and plants, we should pay attention to the master-slave relationship, contrast and connection among different spaces.Fourthly,the theory and technical techniques of sparse lawn space are summarized。Assurance of cale and proportion and treatment method of space boundaries is an important factor affecting the space around the forest lawn space; and separation, guidance can increase the arrangement of space; In addition,the relationship between the elements such as terrain and plants,plants and water will affect the lawn space experience.
