Analysis Of Suitable Cherry Tomato Cultivated In Suzhou Region And Tomato's Weak Light Resistance

In order to select the suitable varieties of cherry tomato planted in Suzhou,the introduction and selection of a number of local cherry tomatoes as test materials,their growth,development and yield were analyzed.Further study of shading treatment on cherry tomato was carried to be determined.The results showed:(1)In order to elect chilling-resistant variety of cherry tomato,'FS1524','Lvbaoshi 1#','Fengzhu','Aizhu','Jinzhu' were used as materials,their growth and fruit output were studied.It suggested that growth of 'Jinzhu' was in best condition among the five varieties,followed by ' Aizhu',and 'Fengzhu',however,growth of 'FS1524' was showed the lowest,followed by 'Lvbaoshi 1#'.Under treatment of weak light,shoot biomass of five cherry tomato varieties were all decreased,and especially in 'Jinzhu',followed by 'Aizhu'.Decrease degree of shoot biomass of FS1524 was showed in the least condition.First ear fruit yield and second ear fruit yield of'FS1524' were showed the highest.First ear fruit yield of 'Lvbaoshi 1#' was only less than those of 'FS1524'.Second ear fruit yield of 'Aizhu' was only less than those of'FS1524'.Shading reduced the fruit output of ' Lvbaoshi 1#' and ' FS1524 '.(2)In order to select the weak-light tolerance of cherry tomato varieties,' FS 1524','Lvbaoshi 1#','Fengzhu','Aizhu',' Jinzhu' were used for the spring material,effects of weak light on plant growth and fruit yield were studied.In the seedling stage,'Jinzhu' growed best,followed by 'Lvbaoshi 1#' again followed by 'FS1524';however,'Aizhu'growed worst,followed by "Fengzhu".Shading led to overgrowth of ' Aizhu ' and'Fengzhu'.Shading significantly decreased the chlorophyll content of five varieties,of which 'Fengzhu' and 'inzhu' chlorophyll content decreased significantly,and followed by 'FS1524' chlorophyll content.Under the shading treatment,the cherry tomato'FS1524' fruit weight(the first spike and the second spike fruit average weight)decreased the most,followed by 'Lvbaoshi 1#,and 'Fengzhu' fruit weight decreased in the least,followed by ' Aizhu '.Shading significantly decreased the yield of the first spike fruit,which is most obvious effect of FS1524 fruit production,followed by'Fengzhu',again followed by 'Lvbaoshi 1#';and 'Aizhu' production decreased in the leaset,followed by "Jinzhu".Long term shading had no significant effect on the fruit water content,but the vitamin C content of the fruit was affected.50%shading treatment increased contents of vitamin C in the five tomato fruit.The "Jinzhu" and "Aizhu" improve the most significantly;and 70%shading further increased vitamin C content of the' Fengzhu',' Jinzhu ' and ' FS1524 ',and vitamin C content of ' Aizhu ' and'Lvbaoshi 1#' significantly decreased.The effect of long term shading on total sugar and acid content of fruit was obvious.50%shading treatment decreased sugar content of' Aizhu' significantly,and 70%shading further decreased its content.Shading treatments had no significant effect on titration acid content of fruit ' Aizhu';50%shading had not significantly effect on total soluble sugar content of ' Fengzhu ',and 70%shading significantly increased the total sugar content in ' Fengzhu ',shading treatment were significantly improved 'Fengzhu' fruit titratable acid content.Shading treatment has little effect on the total sugar content of 'Lvbaoshi 1#',but significantly increased its titratable acid content.Shading treatment did not affect the total sugar content of the fruits of'FS1524',but significantly increased the titratable acid content.(3)Overall analysis from water content,ash,crude protein,crude fat,sugar,lycoypene,polyphenols,vitamin C,amino acid of fruits,it suggested that overall nutrient quality of 'Heiji 1#' was best among five cherry tomato,followed by 'Jinzhu',however,overall nutrient of 'Lvbaoshi 1#' was showed the lowest among five cherry tomato.Major mineral elements in fruits were showed that mineral elements of 'Heiji 1#' were similar to those of 'Jinzhu' and'Lvbaoshi 1#',and higher than those of ' Fantao ' significantly.Types and contents of amino acids of 'Heiji 1#' were similar to those of 'Lvbaoshi 1#' and 'Fantao',and lower than those of 'Jinzhu'.Thus,'Heiji 1#' and 'Jinzhu' could be used as more suitable varieties for the local cultivation of Suzhou.In summary,from the point of view of quality index,The effect of shading treatment on the quality indexes of different tomato was different.Shading significantly decreased the yield of spring tomato fruit of the first ear,which is most obvious effect of 'FS 1524' fruit production,followed by 'Fengzhu',and ' Aizhu' decrease of production is least.Among these spring cherry tomato varieties,' Lvbaoshi 1#' production decreased very significantly,followed by FS1524.The significant effect of shading on fruit yield of second ear was showed in 'FS1524 ' variety.Combination of yield and quality,suitable for planting in Suzhou was ' Aizhu' variety.'Heiji 1#' and 'Jinzhu' can be as more suitable varieties for planting in the Suzhou local.
