Assessment On Main Limiting Factors Of Cropland Grain Productivity In Fujian By GIS Technology

In this study,taking Fujian Province as the study area,this research utilizes analyzed datas of soil properties from samples of the soil fertility monitor and soil fertility,survey of soil testing and fertilizer recommendation of the year 2009 in Fujian province.Space and the attribute database were established according to these factors by using path analysis,gray relational analysis and fuzzy Borda model to reveal the main impact factors of crops production,and relying on the GIS(Geographic Information Systems)and mathematical model integration technology.The purposes of this article were eliminated the bottlenecks of the increasing crops production and provided scientific basis to fulfill the sustainable use of the farmer land resources,and improved countermeasures of those limited factors in the end.The results indicated that:1?The main limitation factors of the crops production in Fujian Province were top soil thickness,irrigation conditions,available K,? 10? accumulated temperature,available B,exchangeable Mg,slope,pH value,available N and available P,which were selected both through path analysis and gray relational analysis approaches.These impact factors were then ranked by using fuzzy Borda model,the ranking order was irrigation conditions>topsoil thickness>available K>available B>? 10 ? accumulated temperature>slope>pH>exchangeable K>available N>available P.2?Based on the distribution area of the limiting factors we could know that the larger area of limiting factors were boron limitation,acidic limitation,nitrogen limitation,potassium limitation,magnesium limitation,irrigation limitation and toplayer limitation,and accounted for 99.76%?97.50%?92.59%?90.26%?83.71%?82.39%and 70.46%of the total area in cropland of Fujian Province respectively.The larger area of limiting factors were heat limitation,slope limitation,nitrogen limitation,Phosphorus limitation and Alkaline limitation,and accounted for 53.31%,51.81%,44.99%and 0.23%of the total area in cropland of Fujian Province respectively.3?In Fujian province,the main limiting factors of grain production in third-grade cropland were irrigation limitation,boron limitationin,acidic limitation,potassium limitation,nitrogen limitation,toplayer limitation and magnesium limitation.For fourth-grade cropland,the main limiting factors were Irrigation limitation,boron limitationin,acidic limitation,potassium limitation,magnesium limitation,nitrogen limitation and toplayer limitation.For fifth-grade cropland,the main limiting factors were irrigation limitation,boron limitationin,toplayer limitation,acidic limitation,potassium limitation,nitrogen limitation and magnesium limitation.For fifth-grade cropland,the main limiting factors were Irrigation limitation,Boron limitationin,acidic limitation,potassium limitation,nitrogen limitation,toplayer limitation and magnesium limitation.4?In Fujian province,the main limiting factors of grain production in coastal solonchaks were irrigation limitation,boron limitationin,nitrogen limitation and potassium limitation;for latosolic red soils,the main limiting factors were irrigation limitation,toplayer limitation,nitrogen limitation,boron limitationin,potassium limitation and magnesium limitation;for aeolian soils,the main limiting factors were Boron limitationin,nitrogen limitation,toplayer limitation,irrigation limitation,potassium limitation and magnesium limitation;for red soils,the main limiting factors were irrigation limitation,boron limitationin,toplayer limitation,acidic limitation,potassium limitation,nitrogen limitation and magnesium limitation;for Yellow soils,the main limiting factors were boron limitationin,toplayer limitation,irrigation limitation,heat limitation,acidic limitation,slope limitation and magnesium limitation;for paddy soils,the main limiting factors were Boron limitationin,acidic limitation,nitrogen limitation,potassium limitation,magnesium limitation and irrigation limitation.5.B,N,K,and pH value were the major limitation factors on different vertical height of corps production in Fujian Province.Irrigation conditions and Mg were turned out gradually as the major limitation factors with increasing altitude.At an altitude of 600m,the limitations of heat,slope and topsoil were also become the major limitation factors of crops production.6.In Fujian province,both intensity and medium restricted areas were dominating types of boron limitation for grain production,and those areas accounted for 91.43%;for phosphorus limitation,both slight and medium restricted areas were dominating types,and those areas accounted for 84.85%;for Potassium limitation,the intensity,medium,slight restricted areas respectively accounted for 20.95%,48.56%and 30.70%;for slope limitation,both slight and medium restricted areas were dominating types,and those areas accounted for 88.22%;for acidic limitation,both intensity and medium restricted areas were dominating types,and those areas accounted for82.17%;for alkaline limitation,the intensity,medium,slight restricted areas respectively accounted for 23.74%,42.17%and 29.38%;for heat limitation,both slight and medium restricted areas were dominating types,and those areas accounted for 89.32%;for toplayer limitation,both slight and medium restricted areas were dominating types,and those areas accounted for 95.92%;for irrigation limitation,the medium restricted areas was dominating types,and the areas accounted for 67.32%;for nitrogen limitation,the intensity,medium,slight restricted areas respectively accounted for 41.53%,36.82%and 25.68%,for magnesium limitation,the intensity,medium,slight restricted areas respectively accounted for 1.53%,36.82%and 21.66%.Accroding to the spatial differentiation of the main limiting factors of cropland grain productivity in Fujian,the governance measures about the external constraints such as,irrigation limitation,toplayer limitation,slope limitation,heated limitation,and the internal constraints such as acidic limitation,nitrogen limitation,phosphorusare limitation,potassium limitation,magnesium limitation,boron limitationin,are proposed.
